Yeah, I think he's over thinking too. Given how rich they are, they can buy or rent a flat in London or anywhere in Europe & live part time there. I also wonder about their visa situation. US citizens are only allowed 6 months in the UK. After that, they'll have to leave if they don't have a residency visa. But they could probably fix that during the 6 month period. I don't know if Portia is a US citizen or Australian citizen or dual.

Summer is a few individual days of 28 C heat, when the locals complain of it being ‘too hot’ 🥹Good luck is all I can say to them !!

Interesting point of view, yet I completely disagree. There is plenty to do where they live. It’s a very different perspective when you are in your 60s compared to somebody your age. Personally, I would rather live in southern England in the countryside rather than anywhere in the United States. Besides, America did them dirty. People treat Ellen like she is a monster, which she is not. She certainly did not deserve to have people turn their back on her. She did not deserve to lose her show. I despise cancel culture. Lots of celebrities live outside of London and commute if they need to be in London. I used to live in the Cotswolds and it is for the super rich (not that I am) I stayed with a pal. It is a very welcoming place, very friendly. Old fashioned pubs, limited shops, it is mostly for a peace and quiet life. It is very very close to Cheltenham which is a hub for entertainment so they won't have far to go for that- lots of festivals go on in Cheltenham, shopping experiences are awesome, Cheltenham race course (where they are not far from actually). I think they made a lovely choice. There is an airport in the Cotswold's where you can hire a private jet (no doubt they will do that should they want to fly to London). There next closet would be Oxford ( about an hour drive away).
