@@PerezHiltonI can see a good, frustrated father getting angry & using the media to address his daughter, when he has gotten no response from her after multiple attempts to connect privately. A journalist revealed the nasty text messages H&M (particularly Harry) sent him when he just got out of a cardiac procedure & was still recovering from anesthesia. I don’t blame Thomas Markle for lashing out in media after seeing those horrible text messages.

@@PerezHiltonit goes both ways. Her father is 80yrs old who is sick and can barely speak now.😂 It’s the brother that is talking to the press. This family have zero communication skills. Wonder where Meghan got that. How about Meghan taking the higher road now that she is more capable to do that and since she is the one parading in all places preaching people about love and friendship and compassion. She should practice what she is preaching. She can send someone to her father and check and lay her demands whatsoever to smooth things out. I tried really hard to like her but man this woman is so unlikable. She’s vile, vindictive and unforgiving and hypocrite.

I think she is embarrassed by her father. I truly think those two thought they could bring down the monarchy. I could care less about being a Royal, but she is holding onto that title like a badge or honor. They wanted privacy and should get it if everyone including them would shut up. She is embarrassed by them in the first place and all that happened with his father before her marriage coincided to her advantage. Meghan had her friends do a puff piece in People Magazine where they lied about what she wrote in a letter to her father. She had them lie & show fake passages to paint her in a more positive light. What she actually wrote to her father was far nastier. He felt compelled to set the record straight. Meghan and Harry want to control their own narrative at the expense of lying & trampling on the privacy of others. Maybe you feel Thomas has betrayed his daughter, but I see that Meghan has betrayed her father repeatedly too. I just see hypocrisy. I just can’t empathize with her side of the story. I dropped everything to visit my alcoholic, wife-beating dad after he suffered a brain hemorrhage from undiagnosed cancer.

Thanx for your content great point taken so , that means the rf can do the same and keep them at bay, h&m put the rf out here on the world stage when they sold their story on Oprah, media ppl etc,she denied helping the author finding freedom but, when under oath in court she admitted to helping the author with the book..I’m just saying if we can justify her not talking to her dad then we should give the rf the same choice.. this is Nothing personal as a Black woman I was for this couple but I just see manipulated..

I think you’re missing context. Also think the “crime” doesn’t fit the “punishment.” Thomas Markle was portrayed by the press pre-wedding to be slovenly and inaccurately an alcoholic (he was taking four beers to some workers). He agreed to have photos taken by a photographer used by Meghan Markle to show him getting ready for her wedding & exercising. Yes he took money for it. Meghan & Harry thought he was making up the heart attack before the wedding & sent nasty messages to him while he was recovering from anesthesia s/p cardiac procedure. Meghan & Harry later took far larger payments to profit off of trashing their families & violating the privacy of others. Both sides have lied (though not equivalently). Thomas Markle has filed for bankruptcy multiple times & has expensive medical bills to pay for his heart attacks & strokes. I can empathize with his need to take money from media & a photographer (who works w/ Meghan). Meghan opted to cut off her father’s completely after his heart attack, never contacted or visited him after his stroke, nor has introduced him to Harry & their kids (Thomas’s grandchildren). My dad was an alcoholic wife-beater. I still dropped everything and visited him in a foreign country when he had a brain hemorrhage from undiagnosed cancer. I don’t think taking money from media due to bankruptcy & to pay for hospital bills is enough of a reason to avoid contacting him after heart attacks/strokes.

@@debbieduffy5121 He's made a career of profiting from doing interviews discussing her personal life. It's never okay to gossip about your child, but to do it publicly is so extra tacky. Also if he were a good father none of this drama would even be possible. When people don't like their parents you should trust that. Bad (even abusive) parents have a knack for hiding it from the world.

@@pauli7457 except they didnt get paid for the interviews. That is not a done thing. They were really hurt by Megan and wanted to set the record straight. Previous to her meeting harry she was singing her fathers praises on the tig. She also had lied about so many things that her family could have easily disputed if they had been to the wedding and started talking to people. An example she said she worked hard to pay for her college tuition. Her dad has receipts showing he paid for the whole thing. Nothing that woman says or does is truthful.
