25-minute walk at a 3mph pace on a beach-side boardwalk - no commentary - perfect for treadmill use.
The boardwalk in this video is located at Sunken Meadow State Park in NY, which is on the north shore of Long Island, NY in Suffolk County. The boardwalk is 3/4's of a mile long end to end and is used by parkgoers year-round for fitness and relaxation. Footage was shot in May of 2024 on a beautiful, quiet morning. Lots of nature sounds. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoyed making it.
Some fun facts about the Boardwalk
1) This boardwalk was featured in the movie Leave the World Behind (2023)
2) There is a catering hall on the west end of the Boardwalk and it is not unusual to see a happy couple exchanging vows against the backdrop of the Long Island Sound.
3) Every Wednesday evening during the summer months there is a seafood fest on the boardwalk with live music.

I post new walking videos weekly. If you enjoy this video, click the subscribe button so you will be notified as the channel is populated with new material. It is my goal to produce high quality content that is suitable for use on a treadmill. The pace is roughly 3mph (5KPH) and I aim to keep the camera as steady as possible. You will notice there is no spoken commentary. Generally speaking, I like to record not only the sights but the sounds of the places I walk through - this keeps the experience as close to reality as possible with the goal of making the videos as immersive as possible.
Walking is such an important step (pun intended) that we can all take to better our health and well-being. I hope these videos inspire you to walk further and to walk often.
