I been running 1 4s Lipo and it does really well. It doesn't do 50 mph, but it does haul butt! Not really in a rush to go all out bashing with it. I get 6 cell runs faster, but you get shorter run times. How are you going to run 8s in that truck? Lacks the space to run 2 4s lipo batteries.

You will definitely break a lot less on 4S, it's an un-written law of RC that when you go up in voltage you will have more breakage. For the 8S setup, we are running 2 3500mAh soft-case 4S packs. Even at the smaller capacity, with the higher-voltage setup being more efficient the runtimes are still very good.

I'm a neewbie at RC : if you put 2 lipo 3s on the UDR, you'll run on "6s" or on "3s" ? Or, in a other way, : to run on 6s, do you have to put in one (or two) 6s lipo ?

You need to run 2 3S LiPo's and run them in SERIES> If you connect them in parallel you'll get double the run-time, but only the power of one battery.

The only thing youl break is servo (they die) and maybe rear trailing arm if you bash hard.

Yes, it will fit. Runtime will be a little reduced obviously, unless you have it geared very tall performance will still be good. We use the 35C packs in many EDF jets which suck down a large 6S pack in under 3 minutes and they do well.

Can I use the same Traxxas ez peak live ID single charger to charge the battery?

You can, you need to use the Traxxas app and turn off the ID function on the charger but they can be used for standard plug packs.

Looks like there are a couple different size of the battery compartments but they all have hight above 30mm, so it should fit. If you know the exact model then it is better to check the owners manual online for the exact numbers.

Everytime i run 6s in my udr on sport mode i break a lowere suspension front arm....if i stay in training mode nothing breaks

We always tell guys, higher voltage almost always results in more broken parts. Either from the power breaking driveline components or the extra speed braking more when it crashes. It's the price we pay for the added fun!

RcBullShit you CAN find a single 6s battery, however, you pay upwards of $125-$150 for that battery. If one single cell goes out, whole pack is garbage. At least this way you have two packs and could theoretically use them in something else too. If one goes out, you’re only out $44. They’re on sale right now.
