These are awesome. We use these in the wet shaving world. I love mine. I fill mine with distilled water just to reduce any chance for build up in the sprayer.

I have gone through 2 of those bottles because my salt water plugged it up. I love them so much that I get distilled water to put in it. In my opinion it's just as important as the oil you put in. No mess no fuss!

See, this is something that would never even cross my mind without Dan keeping us in the know. My natural self just knows i can run my hand under the sink and run the water through my beard, however, it can definitely be hit and miss on the application of the water. I also have to do a little more hands on prior to oil/butter, which i try to limit, to prevent unnecessary damage. This really looks like an ideal way to get a solid even application of dampness to start of on the right foot before jumping into adding product.

Make sure you use filtered water ESPECIALLY if your local water supplier uses TONS of Chlorine (like my city..I use a Pur water filter on my kitchen faucet to filter out all the chemicals including fluoride and chlorine from my drinking water and my next venture when I get a house is to get a water softening system that filters outnpractically EVERYTHING and goes to every faucet including the bathroom sink and shower
