Loving the long episodes mate. Always thought these American trucks might be too big for some of our tight tracks but then again you've got guys with converted Unimogs now so I guess it's not that big a deal. Just have to do your homework and choose the right track otherwise there ain't no turning back.

@fourocker all.good mate, it's each to their own. I like the 80 as well, don't get me wrong the Chev is a great rig but has its disadvantages on the tracks

I have those Campboss deflators and I gave up on them as they are wildly inaccurate if you go by the pressure scale on their side. I would set them by using them on a tyre to set the cutoff pressure, that's until 2 of them became even more inaccurate and aired down too much. So I no longer use them, for the $120 they cost, the gauge is more practical. As once you remove them you have to check the pressures they aired down to anyway.

Thanks what a great trip, the Silverado did the job a bit hairy at times. Good to see lovely dog enjoying the country as well. Last year caught some yah hoos tearing up the tracks around mansfield put the wind up them one of my mates showed them his badge and took their registration and license numbers. We didn’t see them again.

The thick dense track, reminds me of the ones near Bright at the back of Tree Hill, where the logging forest to the S/E side of it. Love the content mate and this video is a great one, as per usual. Excellent work mate. How can I get a binnie and a hoodie?

Great video again BT, the longer run time just gave us all more of a good thing eh!? Les Christian operated out of the hut yuz stayed in back in the day when he was logging the area. Johnson’s looks like it’s getting a lot of use lately as well, there’s been some photos on line of some pretty heavy recent snow there👍

Iam going to come up to licola stay at the caravan park and do day trip out and about, Woods point , and fish the Mc calister. Probably will not have a fourby four not driving to well yet no use of left leg or right hand will have a AWD vehicle.

Yeah, some of those tracks are really overgrown and no forestry teams going in to clear access any more. Some of these tracks are going to simply disappear over the next year

Total wrong approach on that slippery downhill. Just locking your wheels and skating down is a bad idea you have chance to steer if needed . 1st gear in low range is the key and keep wheels turning and let engine brakes do its thing. So much more control than what he just did
