I washed it off and put one in the oven at 350degrees, like you said. I didn’t put nothing on it, ( not a drop of season) period 3.5 hours later it was so tender and has so much favor, OMG Tender, tasty, thank you so much streamed me some cabbage and... bon appétit

So I stop buying cornbeef because the flavor was gone after cooking. It must have been the boiling method it had no flavor. It's been years since I've bought one and I just put mine in for about 3hrs....back with a update... Update! Okay my new way to cook corn beef. Crazy but this worked and it's delicious. Thank you.

Look, I was scared to death with putting my 2 2lb corn beefs in the oven. One was a little over 2 1/2 lbs. So I took the smaller one out first and girl! I was just like you, it is tender and delicious!!! The lager one I let cook for an additional 1/2 hour and it seems to be a little tougher then the 2lb one. I haven't cut it yet, will do so on my break in a few minutes. But the flavor doing it just like you said, is sooooooo good!!!. Thank you for sharing! I would have not ever tried this if it was not for your sincere Aura, for I too truly love me some corn beef! I am subscribing! Looks like we like the same favor!

I just saw your comment, I apologize, yes, I always use it and it makes a difference; I did it once without it, but that was when I cooked it iny pressure cooker and use to rinse it off first and I had to add seasoning, so I use it and it is just the right amount of flavoring for me, not sure if it will be for you. Try it on half if you are not use to using and see. Good cooking 😊

oracle of delphi - I tried it it’s too salty for my liking it tastes better when the brine is washed off all that extra salt isn’t needed but everyone has there opinion

Samirah Jansui I boil mine twice for 20 mins to get some of the salt out (boil, pour off water and boil again) Season it with pepper and garlic then either sear all around or just pop it in the oven. “To each his own” everyone’s taste is different.

I agree with you to soak corned beef meat in clean cold water for 10 to 15 minutes before cooking.
