Like, i always thought that the appeal of the original Perfect Dark was because it was another N64 shooter made by the same people, aka Rare, that made Goldeneye and it was as good, if not better, than that game, on the other hand this, i'm sorry but this looks pretty generic to me, i don't know, it just does.

Looks different, feels different, sounds different. Perfect Dark was gritty, urban, cyberpunk. The game mehcanics were fluid and smooth. You didn't have someone narrating every nauseating detail throughout gameplay. Perfect was one of the best FPS ever made. This looks like just another FPS.

Agree with that.. and it was more stealthy and high-tech. Here we are seeing 'Joanna' going around elbowing people and smashing guns into faces. That's not Perfect Dark. Hope we are proven wrong and it turns out to be better than we thought.

Hopefully they aren't going for a T rating also. The 1st game was pretty brutal for the time with knives and crossbow bolts getting stuck in people as well as blood spatter and blood pools. This game seems tame in comparison. Like if John Wick was PG-13. Just wouldn't hit the same.

I'm guessing it's a prequel to the N64 game and that she defects once she "learns the truth". The whole bit at 3:03 with the Alien sort of implies the plot will include first-contact with the Aliens.

Idunno how I feel about this. Perfect dark was your female James bond competitor back in the day. Doesn't feel or look like anything we all used to know. I guess I have to view all these new reboots with an open mind and forget the past. Perfect dark had the best multiplayer though against all the different bots 😅 hell the weapons alone as well!

You NEED to grab an N64 (ignore the XBLA version, they ruined it) and play the original. It still holds up even with it's frame rate issues. Just make sure you turn off auto-aim and switch your control style to 1.2.
