I never understood why the auto defenses where off in the first place, and needing to activate all remotely. But hell yeah, best level and soundtrack all the way IMO

@@saulofogagnolo2859 I'd figure two reasons One, they were leaving for the white house to greet the president and maians. Two, they weren't expecting unwanted company so soon. Edit: plus this was a hidden place, so they shouldn't have been found so easily unless you're skedar.

@@ShadowAssassin88 For me it was the AR34, it's my fav weapon and I feel like the only one who feels that way. It's a pretty plain weapon among an arsenal of very unique weapons. But something about it, I dunno, I just like it a lot, despite the secondary mode being useless.

Ugh, dataDyne shock troopers with K7 Avengers and Shields... pretty much the hardest enemies in the game. I could never beat this on PA.

I love how unsettling the tone is and how the atmosphere of the ost changes when the skedar show up and immediately goes back to normal as Joanna takes control of the situation (I love this game)

I grew up with a n64 as a young kid and was too young to play any shooters, my main experience with them being the halo series when I was getting into my teens. I would say that there were some games that hold up to the title of good shooters after all those games. But having played through games like perfect dark and goldeneye when I could afford my own n64. There is just so much to love with these games. They paved the way for all shooters to follow. Fun missions, God tier soundtracks, replayability, differing objectives based on difficulty. These games had so much charm and it just feels like that is missing in modern gaming. Aside from indie developers that is.

The CMP150 (AKA the gun that sounds like a laser) was the most featured and used weapon on the levels/missions of Perfect Dark.

On some other Perfect Dark notes, the K7 Avenger was used by Trent Easton's henchmen, the AR34 was used by the Carrington Institute Soldiers, the MagSec 4 was used by the A51 Troopers, the 3 weapons used by the Maians were the Phoenix, Callisto NTG, and the Farsight XR20, and the 3 weapons used by the Skedar were the Slayer, Mauler, and the awkward Reaper.

He'll only appear if he is the one that takes the UFO out of Area 51. If you fly out first, he actually dies and won't be there. It's one of the few level to level changes that carry over, like how your ending position in Air Base affects where you start in Air Force One.
