Talkin about Perfect Day but you skipped right over Walk on The Wild side? Great pick but Wild Side is just... t hat's the perfect traveling song along with Can I Kick It. That bass is sublime and that vibe explodes with life.

Would have been interesting to hear your thoughts on how the influence from the UK rave scene plays into the movie/book context and soundtrack. Especially as it relates to Born slippy

In general, Danny Boyle is known for simply majestic sound design. (P.S. - "MY LAND") I can't find the relevant video essay, with the knife scene from "127 Hours" as an example. 04:45 - This brings to memory and rhymes with the toilet scene, and, thus, subsequently "it's shite to be Irish". Remember that the whole reason they're doing H is that they're bored- "Trainspotting" is both looking for veins and a dumbing pastime.
