man just got into 2042 last week and im already lvl 40, i love vehicles on this game i used to go crazy in helis and jets on bf4, this is amazing gameplay man wish i had guys to play with like this!

Nice to have you in the game! You should be good to go in the choppers coming from BF4, they fly similarly, even though they do feel much lighter. The jets on the other hand have some pretty major differences. For example, you turn faster the faster you go, so if you are dogfighting, don't slow down unless you are trying to get them to overshoot you. It's weird, I kind of prefer the flight model in BF4, but I did learn to fly in 2042. There are definitely some good discords out there that are focused on BF2042, a lot of the decently sized YT'ers in the space have them KrazyKul for example has one. You could try to find a group there.

Flying solo against a coordinated team can be very rough. I had a game on Orbital the other day, which had 2 jets and a Wildcat player who i am assuming were on comms together because I was absolutely wrecked anytime I tried to fly anything. I just gave up on trying flying and just went and focused an objective. Some rounds it's just not meant to happen xD

Having decent coordinating squad doing anything in this game can completely make a game one sided. I really hope in the next BF DICE put some significant work into figuring out better ways of encouraging team conversation. Battlefield is much better with friends and the game does not encourage people to find friends to play with. Even having an option at the end of the round asking, 'Do you want to stay with these squad members?' would be massive.

It's definitely a powerful strategy, but they need to be doing stuff on the ground as well as in the air. If Cabal and I had just flown around only focusing other air vehicles and not working on the ground game, this round might have not gone so well. Cutting off vehicles and bombing objectives is a good way to help your team.

If I may give some constructive criticism, don't be worried about hitting the perfect bomb every time. You should definitely be using it more often, if you got it USE IT! Even a single kill is enough to make it worth it(you never know if that ONE guy you killed would have gone off on a major killing spree). Additionally, don't underestimate it's area denial capability, even without getting a kill you're stopping the enemy advance even if only momentarily. With that in mind, while fighting the tank you could have prevented him from repairing by bombing then lining up another gun run. Overall, great game, I'm luvin the teamwork.

I'm always open to criticism and general tips :) See, the reason I typically hold for good opportunities is because it absolutely sucks using it, then finding a massive group of enemies, but being unable to react to them. Maybe this is something I should just get over. xD Additional, I'm using AP cannons, which have practically 0 use against infantry, so the bomb is my only choice against them. Had I taken the HE cannons, I think I would be hitting the bomb at every opportunity. I'll try being less stingy with it and let you know how it works out :) thanks cap!
