honestly, finally got down to binging your recent covers, as i was only catching glimpses here nor there because of various reasons, lmao. but. damn girl. you were amazing on the x factor but it's so obvious that you have grown as well. your voice is absolute gold. it's kind of crazy that.. i don't honestly know how long ago it was, but five or six years now.. and you've literally come so far, voice wise, and grown up and seem to be doing so well with your voice and who you are. and i know you've not only with your singing voice have tried to put a platform out there that is a positive one. i'm pretty certain i picked the right person to root for all those years ago on x-factor and that's just not because of your incredible singing voice. just woah, drew. i'm so incredibly impressed. i know i'm also going to be looking back at those many years ago, and be grateful you stepped onto that stage and had the courage to do so. they were some of the toughest times of my life but your fanbase, and your music honestly got me through some of it. and i think because of who you are, you had great fans that gravitated toward your fanbase. i keep in touch with a few still and they are some of the most positive people that helped me through some of my darkest moments.. and i'm so grateful for all of them. but i know the reason your fanbase was so positive, and so interconnected when it all first started out was because of you. you brought an entire group of people together that were rooting for you, still root for you, and in your answering questions, or doing blogs, well we waited and wanted you to do well we all connected. so many positive people that were brought together because of your positivity and your music. i look back now and i have so many regrets and despite it all.. i think.. i truly think some of the friends i met through you might be a huge reason i'm still alive today. i had to have a discussion with so many of them about things inside my mind, multiple times, and get their okays, get my importance. but without you..none of that would happen. disappearing, coming back, trying to find myself.. and they all accepted me coming back despite not understanding why i kept leaving.. even you did a few times. i remember poofing and coming back a few times and you'd still appear back in my notifications sometimes when i'd say something to you. i think part of me always knew the friends on twitter.. i had someone somewhere. and it helped. because their for awhile the only place i felt comfortable, that i was someone, that i had people i could rely on was through that fanbase. i know i've made some mistakes in the past, even with certain things i've said to you, in particular you not accepting things and i had my reasons and rhymes for it.. but i don't honestly know where i was going with that part. i think i hold onto a lot of things in my head that i shouldn't. including things from years ago, like stupid shit of making a 'fan video' for you and the response was more of a 'i wanted to see words coming from your lips' and at that time i couldn't really do much about it without giving away things about myself. which is crazy to me. that i hold onto something like that. coming from something years ago, from this random tv star, that i don't really talk to. but i do that with just about anyone. that got way longer then expected. long story short. was really just.. i'm so impressed with how far you've come. and thank you for putting yourself out there all those years ago because if you hadn't.. my world would have been a lot sadder.
