Wow this is so pretty, thank you. As I dont use shawls I turn these into winter wrap around, shawl shape scarves and they work out so lovely.

If you like making a triple crochet stitch, this pattern is for you!! Dunno why, but the cluster rows gave me the biggest problem in that every now and then I would forget to do the second cluster set...I wouldn't SEE that, though, until I had come all the way back during the shell row following it. This wasn't a huge problem at the beginning, but by the time I got my shawl to 25 rows or so, it became downright enraging. So much frogging. Anyway, I finally made myself put a stitch marker in between the 2 clusters as I finished them just to visually remind myself, "hey, did I remember that 2nd cluster or NOT" and that fixed the problem. I only had that one 2-row grouping of cluster row/shell row left at that point, but BETTER LATE THAN NEVER, EH? Now I'm on the first row of edging, then that last row, which on the chart, looks pretty fun, then steam blocking, then done! Should only take like 6 more hours lol Wish me luck. Edit: it only took me 2 hours to finish the edging and steam block it! Y'all, this is a GORGEOUS shawl. I used the Amber Ocean colorway, and I can't wait to wear it this fall with a peach colored shirt and jeans 🧡💙🍑👖 I usually work 4 projects concurrently rather than 1 at a time; this shawl only took me a week to make despite splitting my time between multiple projects.

Stunning! I hope we get the cake version of this yarn here in Australia! Only have the O’go format with limited colours. I’ve just made a poncho with it, just gorgeous😍

Thank you SO MUCH for making this video! I am fairly new to crochet and seeing it done (vs reading the highly abbreviated pattern this yarn came with ) is so so helpful! I fell in love with the yarn and then got intimidated by the pattern. Great explanations and demo. My shawl is off to a great start!

Thank you!!! I have been searching for this pattern to come up for about 6 weeks!!! I have a question. I just finished row 5 and it's starting to look more like a heart-shaped instead of a half of an oval. Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong? Thx again.

I love that there is a video to the pattern, my only question is as I am watching this video, it sounded familiar to me, then I got out the pattern I am working on Caron shells and clusters crochet shawl from yarnspirations, is it common for a pattern to be the same with a chart and everything but the name changes, both are from yarnspirations? I am very thankful for the video as I was nervous to put the edging on.

We need to adapt this to a Christmas tree skirt, but then put buttons* on it for our Grannies. Reckon? * Buttons and loops, or if buttons that will fit through the edge... Just figure for some kind of closures that arthritic grannies can manage.
