@@NandatozZ but..... they are kids now.. everyone can see they are kids, it is stated multiple times in the show that they are still kids. In Warriors Reiner mentioned it during his breakdown. You can watch this episode without more context and feel and even cry for Bert and not be excited that he gets eaten by one of his former friends... like... thats just being empathetic

Pity we didn't hear the Japanese version, but I still remember Erwin's TATAKAE so CLEARLY IN MY HEAD. I actually went and looked it up again just now, just to replay one of the greatest anime speeches of all time. When Armin did his thing so soon after Erwin's charge, I was so freaking pissed that I texted my best friend at 3 am to rant for half an hour about AOT 😂

@@kokemon84 Idk about other people, but I can't listen to the English dub because of how scripted it sounds, and how the VA's speak like they're on a stage doing a play. They're forcefully projecting their voices unlike how normal English language conversation is. It works really well for Erwin because he's in a position of leadership, he needs to sound authoritative. But when he's alone with Levi, he also sounds authoritative and way too formal, which doesn't sit right with me. Now the reason I might be able to distinguish that is because I have a better grasp of English than Japanese, but Japanese VA's sound like the Japanese vlogs or interviews I've heard more than English ones do. So that's why I prefer sub.

Oh my goodness, couple! What a roller coaster of emotions you've swallowed with these 3 chapters! Incredible, right? I've had a bad time for her, it's totally normal that you cried and I also understand the lump in your throat that you've got bro. The chapters are full of unexpected twists and new situations that almost don't let you assimilate the previous situation. I loved your debate during the chapters, about what was right and wrong from your perspective, what you would do about it if you were there with them. Your reactions have been very good, because these chapters have moments that make you very angry or take you to a level of sadness that is almost unbearable. It's not your turn to cry, sweetheart, but don't worry because sooner or later he will cry later haha! This series continues and continues for the better, you can't even imagine where it's going to go. You could make 50 different bets and you wouldn't guess. Enjoy the show a lot, because it really is amazing and you only have one season left. Anyone who has established a emotional connection to the show in either language is going to be somewhat detached with the different character voices and inflections. Shame, because someone who decided to watch the show in dubbed thought it be better for those that watched in subtitles up until now thought they'd enjoy it more. If anything it takes takes away the emotional connection anyone who's experienced the show in either dubbed or sub had up to that point. Overall just selfish, and a little jingoistic on the patreon's part to boot.

48:34 excuses me? Erwin literally made the scouts who they are now. From fighting corruption to recruit levi to exposing Annie when no one even knew what was that mission about. Everything Armin did also put a lot of lives on the line and Erwin was not even there and i am sure Erwin would have better or same. Its crazy how emotional people get, yes armin is great but Erwin is literally a leader with a brain. He literally made a revelation on the government and fought to get eren in the scouts when everyone wanted him dead. And future episodes will prove that Erwin WAS the right choice.

Ye i like their reaction but that was pretty dumb of them to conclude that Erwin “just put his life on the line”from someone that’s been in the army what Erwin did and his plan was particularly unthinkable in a sense that he had to make the decision of sacrificing his soldiers to assure levi’s victory in which he had to gather up the men and women to be prepared for the unavoidable fate that awaits them this leadership is not learned by experience it’s a gift that Erwin possesses that has kept the survey corps going and striving for years now letting that go is non sensical and yes armin is brilliant but in most cases he is not capable of getting out of his insecurities (that’s when plot armour kicks in)

yeah like erwin is literally the reason why they are moving forward. If erwin was not in the picture, they will literally be still cowering behind the walls. He revealed that there was an enemy among them. Armin is just saving few people but Erwin is the bigger picture. Erwing planned the formation to lure out Annie.

@@AcedOnez I never get the hype for Armin when this was first released like I know he could plan but he gets nervous when he is out of plans. Erwin could dish out last minute plans. Armin literally passed the lead to Jean when he had nothing. Armin is only brilliant when he had all the information but Erwin could plan out while he has no cards left
