You are right, It does make a lot of sense to extend Darius Slayton. He is a solid teammate who has improved his hands. The Giants and Daniel Jones need his veteran presence and his deep speed. You don't replace that as easily as some are saying here.

Slayton has been extremely consistent, & good. With better QB play he could have had 3-4 1k yard + seasons by now. He is a very important #2 WR for us now. Pay him.

Did SB take a pay cut for the gmen no and never would. Slayton did. He's a team guy. SB just wants $.

I extend Slaton as you suggested. I'm assuming Waller won't be back. I prefer Gilmore to Howard. I agree with signing Campbell. Definitely do not throw Johnson in to "sink or swim". That's how talented young players get injured or psyched out. Get another vet at TE to pair with Bellinger until Johnson shows he's ready for a larger role. I'd give Neal a chance.at guard. If he struggles, it's time to accept the fact that he's a backup tackle.

According to Daboll, Flott is CB2 and Phillips is slot. Flott can't play slot bc he's too thin to play run. They will not sign starting CB2, because Schoen doesn't want to admit mistake of drafting Flott in 3rd round.

I wouldn’t mind keeping Waller one more year so he can at least play a little bit with Theo. As far as Slayton, I think he would be a 1k receiver with KC. He’s worked on and improved his drop issues and he’s had 700 yards consistently with bad O line and QB play.

Give him a chance with the new offensive line coach. Last year was a disaster for all of the linemen and the whole team in general. Evan Neal was just drafted in 2022 and he's only going into his 3rd season. That is the same timeframe as this rebuild. Let him get all the necessary work against Thibs, Burns and Ojulari this spring. Iron sharpens iron. You really don't want to give up on this guy halfway through the rebuild. There's new faces on this offensive line and some guys we hope will take the next step up as in Joshua Ezeudu and Marcus McKethan.
