Actually, Mace Windu was -not- the best swordsman in the Order, by his own admission. And experience fighting Sith Lords was something -no one- had. Just because Kit Fisto used a 'simplistic' style doesn't mean he was incapable of defending himself; Palpatine was simply better than all four of them. Windu even said that he considered Obi-Wan's mastery of Soresu to be more formidable than his own mastery of Vapaad or Yoda's mastery of Ataru -because- it was pure simplicity.

Windu only wins because he uses the dark side against the wielder but he wouldve stood no chance to someone like grievous, or any sith who didnt use the dark side in the fight and used pure skill

He -did- defeat Windu. His only intention in fighting Windu was to stall long enough for Anakin to arrive, and force him to betray the Jedi Order. Palpatine was never in any danger from Windu or the other Jedi Masters. He was toying with them. He was able to deceive Windu's 'Shatterpoint' perception, rendering him incapable of perceiving Palpatine through the Force. Lastly, it's made clear in the novelization that Palpatine's lightning was -bending- Windu's lightsaber back into his own face.

Mace Windu was a Master of Vaapad Fighting Style. It's as much a philosophy as a fighting stile. A state of being that allows a Jedi to channel Dark Energy into a weapon for the Light. Mace was able to hold his own against Sidious because Vaapad let him open a circuit between them. Using Sidious's darkness against him.

No, Anakin used Form V. Also, as a Padawan, he never beat Dooku or Obi-Wan. As for the Separatist army part...if that was in the animated series, maybe.

First, Mace Windu was THE best and was not so easily defeated. The rest had no experience fighting Sith, and Kit Fisto used Form I, which is much too simplistic against Form VII

Ok, Anakin beat Obi-Wan about 20 years after his Apprenitceship, as Darth Vader. Also, while he may be the most powerful, he really never became skilled enough to fully use that power. Lastly, as I said before, Anakin did not use Form I.
