I have stayed at the Manhattan numerous times and stayed there 9 days on one trip in 2023. I did not pay over $50 a night. I enjoyed my stay. I'll be back in Bangkok in February and chose S15 for 5 days over the Manhattan because you get much more luxury for a similar price.

For $30 what do you recommend in Bangkok?

If you are a solo traveler and want to be in the middle of the action, the Nana Hotel is cheap. It's under $40 per night.

@@joshuarhoades2740 No I haven't. It's down towards the park. If you want quite and still be on soi Nana, then it is a good choice.
