So why charge a higher premium if thread count means nothing to quality ?

you could iron it. or just put it on your bed straight after its out of the dryer then there will be no wrinkles

I have king size Sheridan Millennia sheets. 1200 thread count, very expensive and have had them for over 2 years now. Firstly I have ironed them (that's more than just a little pain in the ass with sheets that weigh probably 5kg+), my normal routine now is if it's really good weather I'll dry them on the line making sure they hang flat (I use something like a clothes horse oversized for this) or I'll tumble them on low heat and when they're dry and still hot it's straight on the bed. No wrinkles. You can also put them on the bed slightly damp and they will dry wrinkle free too but you really need them nice and taught for that.

@@prototypep4 have you found better sheets that don’t wrinkle? I just bought Sheridan lycocell and cotton sheet set. Sure they’re soft feels like you glide over them a bit too slippery for my liking and I found they heat up I prefer 100% linen bedding. But they do feel slippery satin like soft.

@@Ohkeh640 most fibres are going to wrinkle without ironing, that's the nature of fabric in general. I have had my sheridans for over 4 years now as my only sheet set and not a single pill, they're very stain resistant too. Wouldn't go any other set in all honesty.
