A little something I did on the spur of the moment to try out my new editing software. A little tribute video to Perfect Strangers set to Lower Coast Skies version of the theme song. DISCLAIMER: Perfect Strangers is copyright to Warner Bros. The theme song is covered by Lower Coast Skies. I just put the 2 together.

i used to watch this faithfully every week with my sisters at my grams house during our weekly sleepover .. as i was randomly scrolling thru to find something funny to watch i found this ....and O.MG... i can NOT BELIEVE i forgot how FUNNY this show was!!! now that i am older, i see the incredible chemistry these two had on the set ... just HILARIOUS and one of those shows you can watch and forget about your own troubles... GREAT SHOW!

Actually, it's a remake from Lower Coast Skies. They just repeated the first verse. The full original version was recorded but never released so it's probably in the Warner Bros vault somewhere.

@zoyadulzura7490 I agree and I don't know. Lorimar was producing it before Warner Brothers bought them. I guess they didn't feel the need to release it. I only know of the long version being recorded because I read an interview with the singer. Even he doesn't have a copy.

I just realized that Jennifer and Mary Anne's bathroom on Perfect Strangers is the same bathroom that was used on The Hogan Family during seasons 4-6, both shows were produced by Miller/Boyett Productions. On The Hogan Family, it was decorated differently, the walls were painted green, had a green and white checkered floor, different curtains, different mirror and lights.

Hey. you're right! Never figured that out before. Makes sense since both shows were produced by Miller/Boyett and Lorimar. I know that Perfect Strangers and Family Matters shared sets.

somethinsuavetheater Ofcourse Perfect Strangers and Family Matters shared sets Family Matters is a spin off of Perfect Strangers Harriet was the elevator operator at the Chicago Chronicle on Perfect Strangers💯

@@mikefisher4834 true,. But they also didn't acknowledge that it was a spinoff on air. You would've had to be a fan of Perfect Strangers to know that. They DID film a scene with Larry and Balki for the Family Matters pilot but it was cut.

Larry and Balki's apartment set is simply a redress of the living rooms of both Family Matters and The Hogan Family. Perfect Strangers only used that portion of the common set.

I could truly believe this episode inspired ABC to greenlight "Home Improvement" when Tim Allen pitched it to them.

Did the rest of you, who are commenting, actually, do a KZbin search for Perfect Strangers Balki B? If so it's interesting that someone other than myself thought about doing so.
