Also, we used to be taught, weight on front foot. That doesn't work for me. Too much of a V shape path. I like 50/50 or 45/55. Thoughts?

I think ball position is relative to trajectory. If you have green to work with play it a touch back and bring it in lower. No green, move it up trying to stop it with landing angle and spin.

@@industrialpalletworx3548 that’s why the radius and width he’s talking about is so important. For me personally I just leave the ball position the same and either open or close the face for trajectory keeping the radius and bringing the loft back to what you had at address

​@@denuccigolfs622 I do those as well and move the ball position. I like having the flexibility and being able to vary my shots based on what I see. The lie dictates everything but if I need a high soft one I got it, a low spinner that checks quick, I got that too. Ones imagination can be allowed to run wild if you spend time experimenting while practicing. The wide arc is all about using the bounce. Moving the ball around in your stance you can still do that. I don't take divots from 50 yards or so. I'm using my pivot and the bounce. Also opening and closing the face can give you a secondary option of getting the ball to spin right or left as it's landing. It's not much but on fast firm greens it can be fairly significant.

Good stuff guys. I'll move it a touch here and there depending on the lie and shot at hand. For basic shots I don't like it behind middle.
