Looks amazing! I know many people might think its a waste to fix a car so badly damaged, but im glad that this one was fixed. Its better for the environment to repair things instead of scrapping/replacing

Amazing skills! It's been over 50 years, since I've seen such a job done, and so perfectly. Nowadays, cars are just scrapped, because the costs are huge and the skills are no longer there.

As long as no damages to the floor panel, and somebody(mostly insurance, considering the low mileage) willing to pay, unit body vehicles can always be fixed to meet the safety standards.

Severely damanged would be considered a totaled engine or a bad transmission assembly. Body work is in contrast cheap depending which service you go to.

Excellent work from such a young guy. I am a retired vehicle technician who has done plenty of welding etc but i couldn't stop shutting my eyes when he sparked up the welder lol, he seriously needs a good mask.l

I think replacing the side was the correct choice. I agree that a car, that was practically brand new, deserved a second chance. I wish you could have saved my Mustang after I hydroplaned off a highway and crushed the back of it. I have a few videos on my channel. It was 7 years old with 71,000 miles. I had bought it brand new with 7 miles though.

There is no way this repair (using these techniques) would fly in NA or Europe. In USA the labour costs and replacement parts alone would be at least $12,000. The insurance co. would refuse to pay for it and declare the vehicle a write-off. But I do admire the skill of these workers and the amazingly great results!

Aqui no Brasil há esse tipo de reparo, desde que não atinja 80% do valor do veículo ou se não comprometer estrutura. Se não o seguro indeniza o cliente.

rather it be scrapped. once in a collision that metal is weakened it will NOT be as safe as it once was. no. i rather cars with any structural damage be required to be destroyed and scrapped

Please, Mechanic Han, use a smoke extractor so you do not breathe all the toxic smoke when welding. In some years, that smoke might hurt you, and no one deserves to be hurt, especially when you are doing so much productive and admirable work.

@@ОлегБабюк-н9уну да, метал и так мятый да ещё твой мастер будет его мять в разные стороны чтоб поставить на место а потом ещё шлифовать чтоб выровнять поверхность. И что останется? По собственному опыту знаю что лучше новую деталь поставить если есть возможность, а старую жованную лучше выкинуть, и даже после страшного ДТП можно сделать и будет машина, а вот после такого ремонта такую машину можно купить чтоб потом добить.
