From the 4~600 players I've talked to in PWI, the general consensus is that the letters DD stand for Damage Dealer. Also, Blademasters are DD's as they have AoE skills that Archers and Wizzards do not have. The difference in my opinion is, for mobs, BM's are stronger since they can take on multiple mobs quickly but for bosses, Wizzards are truly the strongest class as they hit very hard and crit at outrageous amounts of damage.

im a 67 wizzie myself and if u need tips im on heaven's tear, but my top tip is sandstorm pwns, lv10 it can deal 10k for me with no chi cost, my lv1 dragon strike does 9k so ^_^ sandstorm is ur main staple, also a good build is Even levels- 1str 4magic Odd levels- 5magic and if u think why not vit for more hp or dex for crit, well >_> if u like crits go make a archer instead and vit... more atk less defence is wat a wiz is about

It depends on what u wanna do - here's a list of which class does what best - Solo/lure - Venomancer tank - Barb Physical/Metal Range DD- Archer Heal/Debuff - Cleric Magical DD- Wizard Physical Melee DD/Stun - Blade master

@730eman A Mage is any general magic user, Which branches off in to sorcerer and wizard, sorcerers gain magic at birth, where wizards gain it through practice and lessons. So no i think wizard is appropriate name, since you don't start off as a baby in this game.

@MyrAge219 yah...it's a glitch...it's somehow labelled sandstorm..but it's the little glowing ball thingy understand sandstorm (which is under pitfall) in the earth skill tree

It scores pretty high with graphics, character creation, and originality, although I have noticed a few NPCs/monsters that seem really similar to ones from other MMORPGs. Gameplay is really smooth; in my year of playing, I've only had 1 really bad lag(and that was because my internet was real slow that day). Character creation is EPIC, you can pretty much make your character into anything. And people are friendly, which counts for a lot in the RPG world. Try it out, I think you'll have fun.

Yeah the thing about archers and wizzy's is they're relatively the same. Idk if you've ever had a heavy class person, but its the same diff between D. Axes. and D. Hammers. (d = double) a archer has a lower minimum attack, but a higher maximum a wizzy has a higher minimum attack but a lower maximum so a archer might hit 5000-6000 while a wizzy might hit 5400-5900 But past lvl 79+ Wizzy's hit a bitch more then archers.

BM's are sorta rounded classes. could be used as a DD (not a great one) or a tank (again not a great one) All depending on their build.

@jackgoblin56 I'm not completely sure but I think it's Sakyamuni's Light, a level 70 legendary weapon (to get legendary stuff you need to get the mold for the item and some materials). It should be quite easy and cheap to get and it's also a great weapon for lv 70-80. ^^

i say... wizard and veno are good classes.i dont really perfer archer because they do low damage if the target is close,around the lvl 20s i guess you will kill the target before they hit you or a couple,its good to train your range for advice.

@MrRyjian oh and wiz have many ele debuffs, it's what allows them to 1 shot u in pvp. A simple purify and they do almost no dmg.

yea u have to talk to a wizard skill trainer and buy the skill. then go to skills and drag that to F4 or whatever

Same place you learn skills for cleric or archer, and it's at bottom right to log out lmao

it gets yellow if its made from a mold, u shouldnt worry about that untill ur lvl like lvl 70

@fdyadft You won't feel the need to grind until you start reaching the higher levels, in fact, once you get the dailies (Crazy Stone > Bounty Hunter > World Quest), you really don't need to grind at all. Of course, grinding does help when it comes to find some money for skills.

@ghty102 BM: Stun, occult, fist to death ~ Wizzard: "Highest" Skill dmg and crit then archer. ~ Veno: Debuff, Nix ~ Barb: Tank, 5aps ~ Cleric: meh ~ Archer: 2nd Highest Crit dmg ~ Sin: Stealth/3x spark/Occult/Atk ~ Psy: Reflect.... Thats related to pvp/pve. I seen "Debuff" on wizzard, wizzards dont debuff, venos do, if your talking about undine, then ya. And wizards have higher skill dmg then archers, and if a wiz crits, its more dmg then an archer, and yes archer have faster range dps.

veno's dont tank. sorry to break it to you. and BM's aren't Damage dealers ? Archers deal higher damage then every class besides wizzy after lvl 89. then they'er still number 2.

@MrRyjian was more to frost, though mages and archers are kindof non-factors now that tides are out, much rather have 2 sins dps than Mage archer combo. And cleric in pvp= plume shield, dd, sleep, kite. Or heal and purify others while they pwn in pvp. It's quite fun actually, healing a sin from the air as he takes out multiple squads of players on the ground below, feel like a guardian angel haha

@AzuristSky ahh venos are best debuffers actualy the hole fox tree is debuffing and negative buffs venos are more then just for luring if they amp damage pass chi to a blad master after he sparks so he can give enough chi to dragon the amp damage pluss dragon combo makes wizards have 200k crits at times depends if wiz is hell or not

my wizzard (lvl4) and my staff is 19-24mage atk hits always 75 or higer even on lvl5 animals when i was 3 i think self mage is the best hitting class from magic

ya wolfoftherain53 is right I just made a new archer,wizard,and barbarian which all of them seam to score high with me. The classes are unique but still traditional to the normal MMORPG feel. It takes some grinding as a newbie but after you get 4 or so skills you start to level with ease. Try Perfect World out, you will love it. lol...wizards and archers are good at pvp and pve, at lower levels archers can evade most of the barb and bm's stun and attacks but at higher levels, the wiz is better but it depends on the weapon and the upgrade and the stones used. Also, at level 80+,the archer don't need to use skills at all in doing quests or grinding bec they have very high crit (specially if they have +3-6% crit), all they need to do is normal hit the enemy from range,if enemy is near,they use skill to push enemy back.

I love wizard skills but i've never had the patience to raise them they simply die too freaking much. I Switched over to a cleric because i can atleast heal myself before.only bad thing about being a cleric is you become people's slave. People will constanly ask for buffs,you'll have rude people in a team,if someone dies cause of their own fault they blame the cleric Plus u cant really solo any high lvl boss alone xD atleast clerics are one of the hottest class in PWI Haha

Psy: reflect damage and debuffs. thats pwi in a nutshell for you. just expect to spend $300+ once u hit the lvl90's (on average most players spend 200-500 usd by lvl 100) dont pvp cause its a joke, assasins just pop out of no where and are imposible to kill + whoever spends more $ wins.

and for it to be the high light of your gaming experience is all the proof I need to pack up my story.. besides am talking about lvl 80+ where archers do 4.5k crits on me which is a one shot pure and simple.... oh and clerics 2-3shoot you and BMs stun lock you and barbs you will be absloutly psyched if you get them to half hp... venos with phoenixes bah dont even think about it 2k damgae from bleed each 2 secs yeah right...lol
