XCOM 2 is the sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the 2012 award-winning strategy game of the year.
Earth has changed. Twenty years have passed since world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to alien forces. XCOM, the planet’s last line of defense, was left decimated and scattered. Now, in XCOM 2, the aliens rule Earth, building shining cities that promise a brilliant future for humanity on the surface, while concealing a sinister agenda and eliminating all who dissent from their new order.

Wow, hopefully that information gets to Odd, as it would be totally cool to have him parkouring around the first "phase" of the final mission (have no clue how it works though, simply imagine it might be similar to the strongholds).

I'm the same way. Leave the Hunter alive, and have him be a persistent threat throughout the final mission, make it interesting.

I feel like it's unrequired trouble to leave any alive plus he had a nice sniper that cost one action to shot and a pistol that ignore 5 armour.

Those would be the people who don't like the spend a million years finding the perfect opening strategies. Timers are more entertaining (when their not paused) because it means Odd HAS to make decisions and can't just take his time. It makes strategies like the pass ammo stuff stronger than they already are.

4:00 - "MOST PEOPLE JUST WANT IT TO BE AS HARD AS POSSIBLE AT ALL TIMES" Throws battle scanned Game: Is this hard enough for you? Also, you need the mixture of timed and untimed. Timed missions shows how to win a 100 meter dash while non timed shows you how to win a marathon.

I would personally take down the Hunter before the final mission. Just to avoid unnecessary pain.

Unnecessary pain? If he was looking to avoid unnecessary pain he wouldn't be considering leaving the Hunter for the chamber, sometimes people want to spice up encounters. It might actually be easier to even leave the Hunter for Leviathan since the Hunter himself is really weak this season and the danger would be anything up to the chamber itself.

For the psi-graded units who aren't inherently psionic classes (so anyone other than Cybernetic or a Templar), I think you should avoid just spamming Insanity and their other psionic abilities early in missions the way you've been doing. Unlike the fully psionic soldiers, each psi ability drains a chunk of their Will, so they have a limit on how many abilities they can use which you're not used to dealing mostly with Cybernetic - you should probably hold onto those ability uses until you really need them. Also, the Will drain itself is becoming a problem - it's leading to some soldiers panicking during missions, and it's a big reason why your psi-graded soldiers keep coming back Shaken for so long. Also, focusing on the psionic abilities alone seems to be making those soldiers *less* effective overall. Soldiers like Knightfather and Mayuri have been putting up far lower numbers post-grading compared to pre-grading, because you're not letting them do the things that actually make their classes good anymore like fire their weapons. I think it would work a lot better to just use those graded soldiers pretty much the same as before they were graded, just with the knowledge that they have those extra couple of tools if you really need them.

After increasing the chosen damage chosen weapons keeping their base damage stats without any increase is an insult please increase chosen equipments damage by an extra 2 points. They are meant to be stronger than other weapons.
