I use fiberglass mesh with a density of 160g. per sq.m. For the correct installation of the mesh, you first need to apply a special facade glue to the insulation, glue the mesh and cover it with another layer of glue on top. So that the grid would be in the middle of the plaster layer. The thickness of the plaster layer should be within 4-6 mm, not less. If the decorative top coat has a fine fraction of 1-2 mm, then I recommend applying another 3rd layer of glue to bring the plane to an ideal state. Otherwise, there is a risk that the unevenness of the wall will appear through the finishing layer of the facade!
