Using the pins to hold the cording probably gives more precision in placement. Nice straight cording, with more secure corners. Great idea.

Another thing to add to my to do list for next Christmas. I have never stitched on perforated paper. I immediately went to the on line shop that I use but the charts our out of stock. I put in a notification for when they're back in stock. I can't wait to try this. My cording tool is on the way to me, thanks to you 😉 You make it look so easy. @@dianekubicki2760 I sure did mention it. I probably also framed it with “when I get a chance” or when I have time. I haven’t had any time, thus I haven’t done one. It’s a flat ornament, just shaped. Steps would be the same.

I use my Christmas card I get for finishing on my perforated instead of scrap book paper. Just a thought. Thanks again have a wonderful Christmas. Can wait to see what comes next.

Nice idea! I use my Christmas cards I get by making paper ornaments with them. I’m going to do a video on those too 😊 I’ve been making ornaments for my whole married life using our recycled Christmas cards received each year and turning them into ornaments and they are some of my most cherished pieces!
