Really appreciate your videos man.... KZbin is so convoluted with people trying to sell garbage in every video. Thanks for keeping it real and being someone we can all relate to instead of a my pillow salesman for Harleys which most turn out to be.

Hey Steve! I'm going back and watching the older stuff like this and eventually will take the build series journey. I'm really liking how you are presenting and just being you! The bike is amazing. The attention to detail is off the charts. You really seem to know what yer doin! IF they ever reboot that King of the Baggers race would you go for it if you had the opportunity? Seems to me that race could use guys like you in it! Thanks for the video, man. I'll get caught up eventually!

So stoked that I discovered your channel. So is that a bike built on a jig and hand welded with FXR/Dyna geometry? Reminds me of those bad ass Chopper Guy's Tall FXR frames. So the Road Glide Cowling is bcuz you like it or just experimenting? Your seemingly handmade adjustable lower swing arm is first class. But the frame say big power and performance FXR/DYNA DNA?
@schamberlin51503 жыл бұрын
Ummmm no it’s a bone stock 2018 road glide frame. Just changed trees to change the geometry. Changed the rear suspension geometry and it just works. Thanks for watching

Hello your channel is rad ..hey I am doing a single to dual disk front brake conversion on my street bob it would be cool if you guys did something like that I loved the video where you had those speed merchant radial calipers on your dyna ..thanks for the good content
@theaveragelifeofbob46434 жыл бұрын
Hell yeah! My bike was also single disc to start (the dyna you’re referencing). I used the SM adapters, GSXR tokico calipers,and an FXDLS fork slider. I originally went 13” galfers but since switching to the Marchesini I am using the OEM Ducati rotors
@lccsamuel4 жыл бұрын
Theaveragelifeofbob I am doing something similar but I used bagger brothers radial mounts my god I can’t wait till it’s done lol
@jonathonhart91454 жыл бұрын
Rad channel brother. I just picked up a ultra glide that I am going to build out. I have not decided if I am going to performance route yet which I love. But I have a fetish for one wheel riding and I know I will be right back doing mile long wheelies like back in my 20s. My question is why you went with the front suspension set up you did, over doing a something like a gsxr fork swap.
@schamberlin51504 жыл бұрын
Well you can see in my intro video I had an idea ohlins inverted setup on the bike. Prolly ran that for 30k miles. During this winters rebuild I decided to ditch it and do some testing on the nix 30 drop in cartridge setup. It works amazing even compared to a properly setup inverted suspension. I love having the more performance styled Harley. Even without the wheelies there is no feeling like traveling 1000 miles comfortably to some twisty roads then actually being able to enjoy them once your there. Lift em if ya got the legs

This might be a little extreme and defeat the purpose of a bagger but i still like the bike. Big motor prob gets terrible gas millage an leave you stranded in the desert and a Susuki Bandit or set up Ducati Monster prob a better bike for this type of riding but i do like the bike. The original Buells were this train of thought, i loved the S1.

Where do you put your cheeseburgers on those bikes? I get 42 mpg when driving speed limit. Big cubes but small cam keeps reliability. I’m a big dude 6’4 315lbs that like to 1000 mile days and smash some corners so I figured I’d build a bike that fit me
