@@magra453 no disrespect to Kai, but strictly speaking he doesn't have that flair in street dances. Like Lay was the best in EXO in the arena. And his Latin and Funk aren't at this level.. he does really well in the usual idol type of choreos though and is such a great center. But choreos Iike these that require a lot of flavor and that ability to create a certain vibe and atmosphere that's totally different to the usual idol stuff, is just something else.. Respect to Kai though.

@@arien_000 I adore LAY, and he is amazing at street dance. Unfortunately that’s where he generally stops. Sometimes KAI’s hips can seem a little stiff when it comes to street dancing style, but I wonder if that is tied to his natural shyness. However, as amazing as TEN is at everything, I can’t say that I like his style of dance more than KAI. I am firstly Exol-L, secondly WayZenNi.

@@magra453 i understand. And you could be right about Kai's shyness. But this why I love Ten a lot though, cuz he really commits to the assignment. He also has a shy side, but when it comes to his work and his performance, he takes on another persona for the sake of executing a concept and a dance genre the best way possible. He is already talented but it's really his total commitment and immersion in the character he is portraying through his song, dance and performance that sets him apart. I'm sure Kai is also committed and at the end of the day, it also just boils down to their distinct colors as artists.

In this age of marketing where fame is closely linked to the marketing skills of the labels instead of the talent and artistry of performers, I don't really know if Ten will ever become a household name or not. Still, I'm sure years from now, those who have higher understanding of performance arts and dance as well as new breed of artists will examine all of Ten's work and then study and learn from his performances and dance. He will be remembered and loved most by real artists and those who recognize real art (hopefully by the masses as well but his work is like 3star Michelin and many people are already fine with McDonald's)
