A bout 2 weeks ago, I started doing this drill, but without a club. It really just happened by accident as I was just air swinging in the kitchen. I put my lead arm over top of my trail arm, resting the wrist of my lead arm on the wrist of my trail arm with my trail hand bent slight back to put pressure on the back of my lead hand. Then I took it back on the takeaway and was blown away by the feeling. From there, you just rotate your trail forearm to face up as if you are curling your lead arm to the top of your swing. Then, on the downswing, let your trail forearm just naturally rotate back down to impact. You will be in the same position as shown here. Then continue your follow through. It's magical. I have been doing this drill in my house without a club for 2 weeks, and my ballstriking has greatly improved. I also use this to practice the Y to Y drill, too. It gives you all the right feelings and positions without having to think a single thought. I might just make this my practice swing.

Great video! I've used this technique before. Very helpful. (I was hoping that you would cut away from Rick Smith so that he can tie his shoelaces, or that he would "inadvertently" drop his club so that he can quickly tie the laces as he's picking up the club. I was glad to see he was able to do the whole sequence without tripping over.)

This has always been a good drill. I've actually seen a couple people play golf with left hand low but I don't recommend it. I tried it, felt like I broke my wrist.
