James Dyson ,deserves his wealth he’s a credit to his family and the Country. Inventing is a very lonely place , unlike any other occupation you can’t even discuss your project without jeopardising your patent.

It wasn't the right thing to do to take the manufacturing abroad was it? and that was most certainly to do with money, I'd strip him of his knighthood for sure.
@blakaeg Жыл бұрын
Not only did his manufacturing go abroad but so did the UK call Centre, it’s now in South Africa!! Saving Dyson so much money by having customer service subcontracted!

They wanted to expand the site in Wiltshire but local council refused, local and national authorities simply weren't interested in supporting businesses back then and over the years dozens of 'British' manufacturing was lost abroad due to the lack of local and national government support, British automotive being the best example with only a handful remaining. It's all well documented with a quick Google. Don't blame a business for simply trying to stay in business

@@explorer47422 Part of what you say is true, however, the northeast and Scotland would have welcomed him to get people back into work, how hard did he search to find somewhere in the UK? knowing it would be cheaper elsewhere.

Because he probably had sufficient foresight to see that his business would have been sitting in territory ran by left wing extremists, which if your in any doubt just observe the new tax regime they brought in...

@@explorer47422thanks for displaying the other side of the story. Not every business leader is a monstrous cost-cutter. Irredeemable how some can overlook Sir James lauding the virtues of being tight on money for the innovation process to still hate him purposelessly for such a preposterous claim in outcome. I’ve never watched him before today and so am not a grand fan of long standing, but unjust incrimination (especially where it doesn’t hold government, both local and national, to account) is fetid to me!
