190811 was a blessed day for Army. We got THIS Jungkook, and all the other members look insanely good as well. Tho Jk hit especially hard since we saw him entering the venue earlier that day in his baggy clothes with his hair all floofy and soft, and then he comes out on stage like that. There has to be something about the Lotte Family Concert, since they also completely killed us when they performed there the year before. Anyway, that was really a tough performance for them. The whole thing lasted for about 20-30 minutes, and they basically performed nonstop with minimal water/crowd interaction breaks inbetween songs. Not all of them with choreo, but still. They were completely drenched by the end of it, thankfully it was their last schedule before their break. PS: Your hair looks very soft and I'm lowkey itching to touch it

if i remember correctly this concert happened a while after the japan leg of the tour, as they were resting for a bit this was also their last stage before they took their official 35ish day break.. it was kind of an awkward time hehe, but during this time they still tried to keep up the stamina working out (from what i saw - jimin was consistently doing vlives- i remember joon and jimin were working out regularly so i assume everyone did the same) and still practicing ofc, they performed around 4(? consecutive songs and you can tell they were trying their best to keep up with the energy and they killed it, i admire them so much! and they all looked great, this is honestly my favorite look from jungkook on stage whewww.

Jeff, they were so hot (both ways) ha! They were sweating and exhausted but always perform perfectly. I think jackets is not a good decision for them when performing multiple songs. I'm a JK gal, and the long, wet hair, OMG, dying!

A note about that day in Korea that makes you appreciate the boys even more is the fact that it was extremely hot in Korea that day (and no I'm not just talking about the guys themselves.) They performed a number of songs in that heat at 100%, and literally collapsed at the end. I specially remember a photo of RM taking his jacket off and he was drenched in sweat. So even with a high heat index these guys still gave a great outdoors performance and did you notice the addition of flames at front of stage during Mic drop as if it wasn't hot enough... These boys are amazing

His head is down in the back bc you’re not supposed to be able to see him but he’s taller than jimin and he’s trying to stay hidden lol to give the proper visuals

I think watching the korean show "Hit the Stage" would be good for you. It's where a bunch of idols go on and compete in a dance competition, with a new concept every episode. if you want to see great choreos and performances, you better look to Seventeen. Though, I recommend watching the dance practices and live performances and not the MVs, bc it feels different. They're know as "self-producing idols". They write their own songs and most members participate in the choreos. They won a lot of best male performance award in MAMA, although not this year. Looking forward to your reactions to them.

Agreed with Ms.Johnson. One thing I dislike about the KPop culture is how they try to portray GROWN ASS MEN as ' young kids '. Why? The Army is over a billion strong ( literally 1/7 of the 🌏 population yet they continue to adher to the 'Out dated standards of how a KPOP boy band should look'. As if their target audience is completely made up of S.Korean teen girls. That was then. This is now. BTS is GLOBAL. Stop trying to make our MEN INTO BOYS. Jung Kook fought against that stereotype ( bless him) by getting a full sleeve of tattoos and an eye brow piercing ... you know what?? MILLIONS OF ARMY's plus NEW COMERS APPROVE. So when going through his 'long hair stage' . The guy was probably TOO sexy to handle ( as the youngest member)....so the powers that be decided to ' dial down' his over all appeal when MILLIONS OF US APPROVED IT and go with their countries standard of a KPOP Idol. Which is what? KEEP THEM PERMANENTLY LOKING AS IF THEY ARE 18 YRS OLD FOREVER?? Like a Korean version of Peter Pan? WHY? WHEN LOOKING BACK ON THEIR TIME LINE...THE ARMY WAS BUILT UP OF US.. around the world even as they continued to get DERSION AND HATE FROM THEIR OWN CITIZENS. So why are they listening to them now as regards Kookie growing his hair? I applaud him for 'going against the grain' in his country and getting a full sleeve of tats plus his eyebrow piercing..... Have seen the amount of new male fans/ reactioners who were drawn in JUST by him. Am talking hard core black American guys who used to view BTS as some kind of Korean Candy Pop ' Boy Band '. Point is: Jin is hitting 30. Kookie is 24. STOP TRYING TO TURN THEM INTO TEENAGERS. If Kookie wants to grow his hair down to his waist - let him. It is his right. Have seen other KPOP bands and THEIR hair is long. Yet they continue to defy the 'rigid standards' within their company. As an Army Mom at 54 yrs old living on the tiniest Island in the Caribbean and discovered our boys in 2016. I have seen them grow, flourish and evolve into the number one BAND IN THE WORLD. Point being...Kookie should only cut his hair if HE feels like it. Personally...given his charismatic personality... long hair would kill us all. But any comments in the past..in my humble opinion came from his fellow citizens/ fans. NOT from us.
