Y'all please, you can't expect the same thing from Ateez every comeback, maybe they will give us a Bouncy or Halazia 2.0 but, personally Crazy Form was AWESOME and it is so unique, what's the point on make it the same way as bouncy, it will only grow less on you. Take Seventeen for example, they first came back with Super and then with Gid Of Music why isn't nobody talking about how you're talking about crazy form, like personally I loved Super more than God of Music but I'm not being harsh on them for not releasing a Super 2.0. This only makes me kind of sad that you love hype beat songs from ateez more than the chill/ layed back ones. YOU CAN'T EXPECT 2.0 VERSIONS OF BOUNCY OR HALAZIA every come back, ATEEZ said themselves they want to try different concepts so, and they say on the song too, we're changing the game as we will not stick to the same built up of a song as other please show as much respect for Crazy Form as for Bouncy.

I don’t think we really need to campaign for people to like different songs that’s not what K-pop is. K-pop is unique in that you follow the group that doesn’t mean you love every comeback The greatest strength I believe in K-pop is that you can go through a comeback that you didn’t love and still love to interact with your group. Music is subjective and personal I mean there is good there is great but the distinction between the two is nuanced and varied I personally love crazy form as a whole more than bouncy but that has a lot to do with the captain I missed him rapping doing a solid verse. when it hit his rap crazy form over took everything else for me. This is just my opinion so take that for what it is but I really do believe one of the best things about K-pop is how invested you get not just in the song but the artist. It pushes you to appreciate different types of music that you normally would not listen to because your fave did it and that makes you better so I think we should spend less time trying to get everyone to think the same and more time just appreciating that we’re all in the same space willing to listen

As someone that didn’t like Bouncy (other than Hongjoong in the chorus) this was a breath of fresh air 😂 it’s different, yes, but that is Ateez’s whole thing! Even back in Treasure era, they went from Say My Name to Wave & Illusion to Wonderland to Answer. None of those releases are similar! Fever era they went from Fireworks to Deja Vu?? Deja Vu to The Real? The Real to freaking GUERILLA 😂 Not saying one has to love every single release (fireworks and bouncy are in my absolute bottom tt ranking), but keep in mind that Ateez have said again and again that they won’t follow the mainstream (which currently is the 2-minute y2k songs with no beat. boring-core as I saw someone put it once 😂) and instead will keep on doing their own thing and sound.

Come on, Atinys, let's calm down a little bit in the comments, people have the right to like or not to like the song as much as you do, or not to like it at all. It's called a difference in preferences. I like Crazy Form a little bit more than Bouncy (but maybe just because it's new and less overplayed, and I enjoyed Bouncy a lot), but it's ok to like Boucy or other songs more. For example, I am not a big fan of Answer, it was Hala Hala, and then Halazia that had the same effect on me, which Answer had on Jeff. It's normal not to like every comeback as much as the previous one. Of course, artists tend to experiment with sound and it's not a bad thing, but people still have their own preferences in genres and in sound overall. No one said they won't support Ateez anymore because they like Crazy Form less than Bouncy or vice versa, so y'all should chill. Jeff, thank you for your reaction! Hope to see the dance practice reaction to Crazy Form, when it comes out (hopefully, soon). I just saw the BBT choreography vid, they went hard on it, some parts were changed in the final choreo for Ateez, maybe to ease it up a little bit, curious to see everything in detail.
@jeohyun9yu
@jeohyun9yu 11 ай бұрын
You got some of the Atinys wrong, Answer had a bigger impact on me than it did with Jeff, but that doesn't mean that you have to stuck to that specific genre all time and yes I respect his opinion but to make it sound like Ateez should just release hard-core songs or songs with an emotional instrumental and lyrics like Answer it's just sounds off for me, plus if they would do it I don't think it would work bc there are groups that always have the same sound and it's kinda boring tbh
@Asya062
@Asya062 11 ай бұрын
@@jeohyun9yu But no one said they have to stick to the specific genre or do the same thing? Answer and Bouncy are hella different, but Jeff said he liked them both the most among ATEEZ songs. Speaking from my listening experience, I listen to a lot of different music and I have favorite genres, but not every song in these genres is my favorite. It highly depends on the instrumental, the melody, the flow, etc. People have their preferences, it is normal, no one standing with posters near KQ office and demanding from ATEEZ to make the same music all over again, but people can express their opinion about a track, right? Again, I personally loved Crazy Form, I agree that the instrumental is simpler than usual, but I love it. The beat, the rhythm is great, the flow is great, it was enough for me and I wasn't craving any dramatic turns in this title track, it works fine for me. I want to dance every time I hear it. But I can imagine some people might find it a bit plain, because they usually prefer a different sound. And that's OKAY! People can like different things in music, some people love experiments, some - not so much. That is my point. A lot of people in the world listen to the same genres, btw, and you saying it is kinda boring - that is also a difference in preferences, boring to you, but not boring to someone else. I love experiments, but I know a lot of people who don't. It's a good thing when reaction channels honestly express their opinion about the comebacks and not just praise everything because that's what fandoms want to hear. Jeff wasn't hating and wasn't harsh on them, he literally said that for his taste this title track is not the best, but he also said that he's aware the songs don't always need to have to be epic or have a dramatic drop.

@@Asya062 Yeah and I get him for that but seeing how from all the reaction videos I saw for Crazyh Form only in Jeff's channel they be like "Ah yeah we don't like it that much too" it seems off to me and I know that every single person in earth can like different things or music like me with Seventeen for example I love Super more than God of Music but I still loved God of Music but just because I loved Super more than God of Music doesn't mean I have to stop showing it love and stop listening to it just to praise Super, NO I will try to love them equally and for that I'm on the same mind as Jeff that Seventeen should've released God of Music on April and Super now since it's the end of the year and it would be great on award shows, but personally I think Crazy Form is such a unique song and a BANGER that it was the right time for it plus if you see the last three comebacks Ateez had (Guerilla, Halazia, and Bouncy) they both have in common the super drop and the "heavy" instrumental which means that's why Jeff liked them and he liked Crazy Form less because of that, but in my ear Crazy Form it's THE perfect song, since it's unique, just feeling a bit let down from Jeff's reaction since we both have in common a lot of things such biases etc, and I felt a bit upset that he didn't liked the song as much as Bouncy but it's okay, I'm not calling him out for not liking it, it's just that I felt let down from a person I love so much and I trust that's it. Sorry if that made you upset and if I mislead you on understanding my point in the wrong way.
@Asya062
@Asya062 11 ай бұрын
@@jeohyun9yu No I think i get what you're saying, and your perspective didn't upset me at all, I mean, we're all in this Atiny journey together, and i think it's cool that we can appreciate different things. As for Seventeen, I also love the Super, but for example, God of Music isn't my go-to at all, I watched almost all performances on tv shows and award shows because it's more fun this way, but I haven't added this song to my Spotify playlist, I just don't really vibe with it on its own. And that's ok, I am honest about it, but it doesn't mean I stop supporting Seventeen just because they released a song I don't personally like. Back to Crazy Form, I understand it can be a bummer when someone you usually agree with doesn't feel the same way about a song you love, like with you and Jeff, but yeah music is a personal experience and what resonates with one person may not resonate with another. For this reason I like watching full album reactions, because the title tracks often appeal to the general public more, but b-sides are where groups sometimes can show unexpected colors and it shows how different people's reactions to the the same bunch of songs can be. Let's keep enjoying the music we love and respect each other's tastes 🧡
@Asya062
@Asya062 11 ай бұрын
@@jeohyun9yu Also i think that the reason why you see more people here in the comments saying that they don't like Crazy Form as much too, is because they feel safer expressing it under the video where the channel's author expressed a somewhat similar opinion. If Jeff had been all hyped about this comeback and liked it a lot, you'd probably see way fewer comments like these - not because people would just be echoing whatever he says, but because there'd be less of a vibe and comfort in sharing similar opinions in that environment

That’s interesting. Crazy form grew on me the same way bouncy did. Tbh, I didn’t like bouncy in the beginning. The chorus felt, to me, too simple, and the fact there was much auto tune as well. But after the 10th listen, I was completely hooked because of the performance and how iconic it is. I hope it’d be the same for crazy form. I once thought the chorus sounded empty as well, but now I love the fact that it is EMPTY. It’s simple, catchy, nonchalant…makes me feel badass, like I don’t give a San’s glove about what everyone says. And the beats in the background sells it for me. I love songs that can make me immediately want to 💃

Maybe they won't release an Epilogue and go straight to the new series, is that a problem for you? And if they start the new series with a laid-back song, are you going to be sad? PLEASE SUPORT THEM FOR WHAT THEY DO, AND FOR BEING UNIQUE, THEY WON'T ALWAYS RELEASE HARD CORE SONGS Y'ALL.

@@jeohyun9yu uhhh where exactly did that come from? I wasn't saying Crazy Form was a bad song that they shouldn't have released. Or that they need to release an Epilogue. However, since Jeff didn't really love Crazy Form all that much I wanted to say that first of all listening to the album is still 100% worth it and the next title track might be more to his taste. I personally still really like Crazy Form (although Silver Light asked for my hand in marriage, so I can't say no to that) and I stream the mv in all of my free time. I also thought the chorus was too similar to the verse, but I realized I had it backwards because they start with the chorus, so the verses are like the chorus. personally i never watch stage performances before the actual mv or song simply because the stage will obviously be different from what's original. as for the song, im tired of people criticizing the song/album because "its not old ateez". they're allowed to experiment. its their music, they dont have to use the same sound if they dont want to. and i personally love the fact that they make things different every time, it brings new flavors into their discography and helps them find bigger audiences and more growth. crazy form alone has gotten them to #1 on bb200 and #2 on UK charts as of right now. we can't expect them to just stay the same with no growth thats unrealistic. this album was by far the best one ive heard due to how unique it is (plus the fact that we finally got subunit songs and a Jongho solo which I'll forever cherish) and i can only hope for more success moving forward and that the members continue to grow.

Here's the best explanation of Ateez lore I've read to date: Ateez are pirates who were gifted that hourglass (called a chromer) which allows them to travel through time and between dimensions. At first, they are searching for treasure and having adventures, but eventually they run into these bad guys who have chains where their faces should be. The bad guys are from Dimension Z, whereas Ateez is from Dimension A which is presumably where we are as well. But there is another version of Ateez from Dimension Z called the Black Pirates (aka Halateez) who are the enemies of the no-face guys. At first Ateez teams up with Halateez to fight against the no-face guys (they are the ones in the black hats in the MVs for Answer, Say My Name, and Hala Hala). Eventually something happens and Halateez disappear (I'm not totally clear on this part) and Ateez ends up in Dimension Z instead of Halateez. What they discover is that the no-face guys are in charge of the government and they have brainwashed everyone in Dimension Z to have no emotions so that they can be controlled. Ateez sets up a subversive movement to take down the corrupt government and restore emotion to the people. To do this they use propaganda in the Guerrilla music video and chili peppers in the Bouncy music video (because apparently people can feel the burn of the spicy chilies and that helps reconnect them to feeling). They also smuggle weapons in the chilis. In this current episode (Crazy Mode mv) they need to finish taking down the government and get the heck out of Dodge. But the chromer is broken. It broke at the end of the Deja Vu music video so how are they supposed to leave? Yunho and Wooyoung are working on the pirate ship in the lab. Meanwhile Jongho and Mingi break into the lounge where the high government officials do their business and start shooting things up. They other members are being rounded up by the government but they just have to wait till Jongho kills the leader and Wooyoung wraps up their plan for getting home. If you notice that in the beginning scene there is a crescent moon and in the final scene a full moon. Ateez can only travel on the full moon. In the extra scene at the end you see the full moon, but the pirate ship and presumably Ateez as well are gone even though they left the broken chromer in Dimension Z. In the song Halazia, Yeosang has a line, "little blue bird that list it's voice." I think they are using this as a metaphor for the people that lost their emotions (if you examine the other lyrics of Halazia). At the end of Crazy Form, you can clearly hear the bluebird singing as it takes to the sky. I assume this means that the bluebird found its voice and the people found their lost emotions. But without the chromer to help them travel will they be able to get back to Dimension A or will their new ship take them somewhere unexpected?

I genuinely don't think there is a single song I haven't liked, but I'm more of a genre person and I think that's why I like all their songs because they are never what you'd expect. ATEEZ have been the only band/artist where I have liked every single song they've released, like even with western artists. It probably has a lot to do with nostalgia for me as well, I've halfheartedly followed them since KQ fellas (meaning I listened to all their songs but never bought merch or albums or watched interviews) because they were safe, I knew I'd like the songs regardless. I also think Bouncy was gonna be hard to top, honestly that whole album is amazing (literally my opinion on all their albums 😅) And imo I think they did it, Crazy Form is just subdued enough but still ATEEZ sounding that if they were to 100% top Bouncy it would be harder for their next release and that's why I think its great (idk if that makes sense). Because Bouncy was huge, it was so successful but toning it back with this comeback was the perfect move especially with their B-sides like omg I love all their unit songs . It's hard for me to pick favorites (coz there are so many) I just love them all equally and I'll admit its hard for me to look at ATEEZ songs objectively, but I really enjoyed your review. 😊

I find I usually need a few listens to an Ateez song before I can get into it. Which sounds negative, but that's not the way I mean it (they are my fav Kpop group). It's not because I'm not enjoying it, but because they're usually a bit unpredictable. Like, a lot of their stuff doesn't exactly drop when you expect (like Halazia), and they almost always have more beat switches than usual. So the more I listen to one of their songs, the more and more I like it. Besides, literally no Kpop groups sounds as good live as in the studio. Because they have to dance their asses off the whole time, and the only human being I've seen who can manage both belting and dancing is Jongho anyway.

Crazy Form is a fun song but my favorite song on their new album is Silver Light absolutely. We Know as well. Crazy Form isnt in my top 3, but I still enjoy its energy.

After Halazia, that made me became an Atiny, I think this is the comeback I like more. For me, there's a lot happening on Bouncy's MV, too much information... I think in Crazy Form, both the lyrics and the choreo are catchy, it resembles a bit of Brazilian beat sometimes so I loved :)

Thank you for the reaction! It is interesting hearing your thoughts on crazy form. Since for us atinys, we expect something new everytime when it comes to the title tracks of ateez but also ateez have this specific type of music that you'll go "this is so ateez" and whatnot, and based on the comments, a lot of atinys liked Crazy Form a lot more than Bouncy due to that since Bouncy was so new, trendy, and almost sound "neo" (iykyk). But I get your point since you said that the past ateez songs (except for Bouncy I assume) you had a hard time liking it which I respect. Crazy Form was so ateez-like and a song after Bouncy (in which you really liked) so I understand your sentiment on not liking Crazy Form as much as Bouncy. Still, thank you for your reaction! I would love to see your reaction when the dance practice comes out 😊

I'm only now hearing this, and mostly from reactors that CF isn't on par with Bouncy But, i think CF is better... Bouncy was a great song, but it did feel a bit off place with Ateez CF is so fun, bringing back Guerilla and The Real vibes But, to every man their own...

I disagree. I loved bouncy and didnt think they could reach the same level but Crazyform did just that. Its a great song, the video is hilarious and entertaining. And the choreography 🤌🏽 Hoog Joong saying get up at the start. The way the dancers move to the side at the start. Wooyoungs freckles. Wooyoung and Yunho fighting scene. Seonghwa dressed as prince looking fine af Hoog Joongs rap and little dance Wooyoungs twerk

I have such relationship with Ateez that makes me believe that none of their songs aren't legendary and this is coming from a predebut fan every single comeback is different and unique as simple as that.

I completely did not expect this vibe from them. The verses to me sound somewhat lacking in all the sounds I'm used to from Ateez. It's such an earworm tho, it's growing on me. It's just not my favorite Ateez comeback of all time.
