Yh I’m a taemin stan and I’ve been seeing a lot people mentioning taemin when speaking about Kai. Sometimes it comes out of love because they’re best friends but you gotta respect them both as unique artists. They both have contributed immensely to the creation of their own unique identities, you gotta give credit where credit is due

literally anything comes out of EXO is so high standard and always successful i remember EXO-CBX is the best sold sub unit ever then few years later EXO-SC became the best selling subunit like they’re literally breaking their own records as for soloist Chen Suho Kai Baekhyun were the top selling solo artists within that year Baekhyun became the first double million seller and Kai is number 1 on worldwide itunes and so on

When you mention Haechan, i literally choked what im eating because me and my friends, actually my friend had told me that Haechan was like Kai younger brother. There are some points that they were kinda of look the same. And HELL YEAH! tomorrow is the day! 11/30/2020 Kai's album release date. We've been anxiously waiting this album for 4 months and finally here it comes. I can't even wait to get my albums. Thank you for reacting this video, i appreciate you alot. the quality is really good because he went over the budget that SM gave to him, and the consequence of that is he will get paid less than the other SM soloists. Most of the profit will go to SM. But jongin just wants a good mv. He really chose exols over money skjdhfg

Oh my God, I was so ready to see your reaction to “film: kai” and the official MVs together on november 30th but I was happy to know that you reacted the “Film: Kai” earlier since I was really excited about it. When people said “SM is the vocal power house of kpop” and “EXO are the vocal kings” it was 💯 percent accurate! There is non SM artists and EXO member are not good at singing even the MAIN dancers and Main rappers could outstand some other main vocalist from other group lol. Kai is giving us too much in his debut album and I can’t help to question if we even deserve it oh my God.

Yessss, finally someone talking about Kai's voice!!!! If you listen to their b-sides or their slower title tracks you will notice Kai's sweet vocal tone. His vocal tone is my favourite vocal tone of all time. I would just go and listen to Kai's parts over and over just to hear his voice and the fact that we are getting a whole mini album with just his voice is heaven to me. But I'm quite sad that they didn't include Confession as a bonus track like how they did in Baekhyun's album 😣

So there is an explanation running around on korean sites has to what may be a reason kai production value to so high? So basically it looks like the higher the production value the lower the money goes to the artist so kai literally said quality over any other thing,also we you have heard to exo bsides you will know right kai really has very smoothly voice but he is actually the sub rapper of the group? If you pitch up kai voice it does sound like haechan someone actually made vid about it. It's amazing considering both are amazing dancer with ballet history. Kai is rapper but he can sing that good. And haechan main vocalist but can rap too. Ace

Thanks for the reaction. However, good luck on just buying one album. There are three versions of the album with different themes and there is a flipbook with three hundred pages. Kai showed them on a live stream. The cool part about the flipbook is that when you flip through all of it together it shows you Kai dancing.

Honestly its an SM thing to make songs with voices that highlighted rawness as a whole. Their producers specifically liked it with their raw voice than being too mixed. In NCT recording diary the producers specifically requested it to be that clear on vocals coz they sounded good why mix it with some robotic effect unless otherwise needed. And I know we are in for vocal colors highlighted in a song than a mechanical sounding one.

personally what took me out is that I have been in kpop since before exo even debuted. I have loved many albums over the years but KAI feels different. Not just because there are no skip tracks because that usually doesnt happen to me i kpop. But because this is the first album in kpop where the album literally represents the artist. not the idol persona but the artist. these tracks are the kind of music kai always had on his playlist and recommended and covered. The 40 different fashion shoots and concepts? thats literally looks like kai's clothes from his double room walk in closets. the way it being self titled has so much meaning rn. not to mention they were delaying it for years a producer said kai worked on this for years. he really fought and its after 8-9 years but he made no compromise at all. not one edm and ballad and catchy pop tune in sight here.
