YES! This is the most crucial moment Monsta X and Monbebe has ever faced. Wonho left just before their second stage for music show case for this comeback. Literally after couple days the song was released. Wonho's last stage was at the M Countdown, with this song Follow. That is the only stage where FOLLOW were performed with 7 members 😔 MX really had the worst time in their life. You can imagine they were at their worst, that they even stop recording their performance show because of Wonho's sudden departure. They used the earlier recorded performance instead of live recording.. some staff or MBB said that Minhyuk and Kihyun were broke down that they couldn't perform at that time. Remembering that moment, gives me chills. It's the worst nightmare ever 😔😔😔

I think it was the third day after follow release... we were all hyped and then this devastating news came out! Could have been the best monsta x comeback but I couldn't watch anything after wonhos departure. And even with the knowledge now that he is back and debuted solo I still feel that there is a black hole in monsta x lineup... it always feels somewhat empty! I'd really like to hear wonho's Hardcore voice like in follow again! As heartwarming as it is that he can sing and perform again... but I miss him as Monsta X Wonho..

Just so you know...for a little timeline: October 28th: Follow: Find You drops October 31st: Wonho left November 17th: Dance Practice Basically they had to change the choreography in just one day to fit 6 members instead of 7. They had the first comeback promotion at MCountdown with 7 members and performed Follow, Find You and Mirror (Wonhos Song). Then they went to an award show and shortly after that Wonho released his letter that he’s leaving. The next day they had to promote again on Music Bank but they only showed a prerecorded performance of Follow because they weren’t able to perform live. By the way, the MCountdown Performances were never uploaded officially. On Saturday, November second they performed Follow and Find You together for the first time as 6 members in front of their fans and it’s hard to watch that. November 3 is Minhyuks Birthday, Hes MC at Inkigayo which is every Sunday. So basically he lost Wonho 3 days prior, had to hold his strength to make the comeback possible and had to MC happily on his birthday as if everything was fine while performing. Starship basically abandoned Follow, I guess that’s why it’s not subbed. There also should’ve been a performance MV that never happened...basically saying, Follow deserved better. She is a queen and she was robbed and I‘m so sorry for that. hi, the award show Korean Popular Culture & Arts Award actually happened on October 30th, the next morning (oct 31st) was the MCountdown pre-recording and then in the afternoon wonho and sse announced him leaving.

just to add on Wonho's departure notice was before the mirror prerecording, which explains why their expressions were the way it was in that performance.

@@Emzi05 it wasnt actually, otherwise they wouldnt have recorded it with him or performed mirror (written, composed, produced by wonho himself). but by the time they recorded the performances everyone was laready feeling down /actually since before the comeback, due to the me2 issue) by the rumors ppl were spreading about wonho. like the night before (at the awards) someone yelled "give the money back" to wonho. he was attacked a lot by knetz during that time, even by some "mbbs" so no one was feeling 100% during the comeback recording.

Such a sad moment when he realized there was never a dance practice with Wonho, since the practice came out weeks after the release... and Wonho left only a few days after the release. As many people have pointed out, he only got to perform the song for an audience once before the whole bullshit allegations. The dance practice also feels less clean than their other choreography because it was originally meant for 7 members and had to be adapted for 6 members nearly overnight due to Wonho's departure during promotions. Also, the dance practice has Wonho's vocals stripped and replaced with Kihyun's vocals

That whole comeback was almost like a premonition, especially with the prerelease Find You. Wonho was forced to leave just 2 days after the comeback and it was like we were living the storyline...we had to FOLLOW them, to FIND a missing member, to reunite like the fate that holds us together October 31st will forever be a cursed day for our fandom. The last 10 months have been insane. But i am SO SO SOOOO proud of Monsta X and Monbebes. We fought so hard, and wonho found the strength to come back to us. We are still praying and hoping for his return to the group. But in the meantime we will make sure he creates an insanely successful solo career and prove to the world his value and talent! I think I didnt even watch the majority of the stages and content from Follow era..it is associated with sadness. Follow would have been Monsta X's strongest comeback.. which explains why the antis tried to sabotage it and preplanned a HUGE attack on almost every single MX member. Thankful that the other 6 were saved, but the trauma was real Anyways, let's build a better future for all 7 and give Monsta X the recognition they have always deserved ❤️

Actually... The original choreo with 7 members is just ICONIC. If we observe carefully... We can see our members not putting their whole... It's just bcz they r too stressed and they really hated doing the song as 6. Though they somehow managed to make choreo suit for 6...we can clearly find that one spot left irreplaceable in some areas screaming for Wonho to join back. We ain't gonna forgive Starship for that ... Well.... I'm not crying😭😭😭😭😭

fact about this choreography, as monbebes have already said in the comments wonho left the group right after the first ever performance of follow on music shows (at mcountdown), three days after the release of the mv and album. that was on the 31st of october, and despite monbebes concerns for the wellbeing of the group the company had them continue performing the very next day. that means monsta x members had to learn the entire choreography again for 6 people and not 7 as well as redistribute all of wonho's lines in ONE afternoon while they had just suffered from the more than sudden departure of one of their team members and friend... yeah, it was a rough day

Monsta X choreo is always hard and new.. their choreographers even said they an idol who always wants to create new and breaks their limits. Imagine the sacrifices and hardships they have had on this comeback. When wonho sadly leave.. for the choreos and songs parts to suddenly rearranged after a day or two.. they are really impressive. They really shown that they are not just a kpop group come what may they will stand back even if it means not being together on stage but they will always be their STRONGEST SUPPORTERS of each other. 😭💙

Honestly, as a new Monbebe who is earnestly discovering and carefully listening to every song of Monsta X esp the comeback songs, I can definitely say this from my personal point of view and lyrical knowledge that Follow was the best comeback song of Monsta X, hands down! (completely personal opinion; this song is a BOP) Had the storm not blown over in October, there would have been much more greater things for MX at the end of 2019! But life goes on and the ship of Monsta X will keep sailing alomg with Wonho's!

They persevered through such heart ache. To have to do this as 6 was probably devestating for them but they pushed forward & held their heads up high. They all showed such heart & grit. I was so proud of them for never giving up. This could have completely dismantled MX but they chose to continue and be stronger, together. I don’t think these 6 are given enough credit for their strength and grace. Their world was falling apart but they continued for themselves and most of all...Monbebe. I will always support all 7. This is the first time I’ve watched their dance practice for this song because the boys were in so much pain when they had to record it. This was one of the hardest points of their careers and I...just couldn’t. Thank you for reacting to Monsta X. Follow era was a very sad one. All of us were heartbroken and didn’t understand what was happening but the worst was seeing how heartbroken the boys were. You could see it in their stages. The first stage without Wonho was the worst, I remember a mbb posted a video where Jooheon was telling the mbb that were there to not cry and it was the saddest thing ever. They seemed really angry on that stage and it seemed they were trying to prove a point(the way IM and jooheon rapped was wow). Not long after, Jooheon went into hiatus because of the anxiety he felt. Sadly that comeback brings a lot of those memories but I’m glad to have both Jooheon and Wonho back. I know a lot of mbb are still going to fight for OT7 but for the meantime we are supporting both in their paths.

Yes, Shownu's form is always beautiful! If you didn't know, Shownu was a trained swimmer so proper form and follow-through are really in his muscle memory, which is why I think he moves so beautifully. (Also why his shoulders are so broad!) Totally agree he's become so confident in his dancing since their debut and I love watching him move.

I love this song. This isn't my favorite dance practice because I think they were still adapting and figuring out how to manage with 6 instead of 7 and didn't look as crisp as they normally do. Please react the the Find You MV, it's beautiful, and my bias Hyungwon really shines.

Wonho's departure was on the day of his comeback. The comeback stage is recorded in advance. They recorded it on Wednesday and Thursday was comeback day, at 7pm and at 6pm they announced the departure of wonho. The next day they had to go to the shows and go on non-stop. Shownu didn't eat, he was pale, he didn't lift his head off the floor. Minhyuk and changkyun seemed to break in tears at any minute. Jooheon can do whatever he wants to do. But no doubt. As a rapper. He's the best. He's really a complete artist and he's full of talent.
