I love this comeback, it reminded me of the time when girls generation was promoting lion heart while Red Velvet was promoting Dumb Dumb. This comeback really feels like Red Velvet being the Queens of Kpop.

Yes Yeri has always been a rapper ! she is officially sub rapper and sub vocalist but as time goes she raps more and more in their songs and tends to take the lead rapper position that originally was Joy's, Joy who is becoming more and more of a lead vocalist instead ~

While the popular and well-known (maybe only to Revelus) opinion is that Wendy is the actual best rapper, I LOVE some of Yeri's raps. Queendom highlighted what I like about Yeri rapping, which is that her flavor of rapping is VERY sassy and kind of sweet yet uppity vibe (a la Peek-a-boo's "Ex-cuse me?") It's unique and different because more Kpop rappers are going for the "swag" (Wendy) vibe or the "sexy" vibe (Irene), and I like that fresh flavor Yeri has. The best way I can describe it is that Yeri raps like she is a sugary version of Regina George, and I am here for it. If she ever says "Get in loser we're going shopping" I might die.

For sure she could be considered as lead vocalist alongside with Seulgi now, while Yeri could be considered as lead rapper. It is just people still use “sub vocalist” and “sub rapper” to introduce Joy’s and Yeri’s official position so that baby luvies will not get confused-but then they will learn more that the two has improved their singing and rapping skills as time goes by

you can watch their b-side song ‘pose’ performance before the ‘queendom’ performance. it’s more than what we wanted, just them being together again after 600+ days is a lot. Queendom has a beautiful message for everyone, one of the reasons i love it.

Visual wise, Red Velvet and their MV are stunning as always. Song wise, I think it will grow on me soon (as some parts are quite catchy), but to be honest based on the fierce teaser photos, I was expecting more of a girl-crush/powerful concept. Overall this comeback is not bad, I still enjoy it of course :)

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES!!! I can't explain how Happy I am during this entire thing I was stopping the Music Video and going back a lot it has been too long but our Queens are BACK! I am so glad that you reacted to this they all did such a Phenomenal Job like always, this was literally everyone's Era and you won't make me think otherwise because Wow just Wow I absolutely loved everything about this! Irene went off on the Rap it was just Wow especially the one near the end it was a Singing kind of Rap and I was here for it also her Vocals both in there and pretty much all of the B - Sides were INSANE I literally mixed her up with Wendy sometimes and don't get me started on her Visuals she is indeed the Original Visual, Seulgi went off her Visuals were CRAZY and I absolutely love her in the Orange hair her Vocals were just Wow and don't get me started when she was in those B - Sides because WOW she went totally Insane and I loved it again just everything was Amazing (Don't get me started on her Dancing), Wendy WENT OFF on the Vocals she was flexing her Vocal Colors and her High and kind of Low notes in every song (and a little spoiler) she also Rapped in one of the Songs and I was here for it they need her to Rap a lot more also don't get me started on her Visuals just Gorgeous I am so happy she is back and she also got much better at dancing just Wow, Joy went Crazy on everything the Dance, Visuals, Vocals, and we got Joy RAPPING again I am so happy to see that because she is such a great Rapper but again her Vocals were Gorgeous and yeah her Visuals were just Wow she is indeed Sexy Dynamite, and Yeri was just What in the World her Vocals are so GOOD she literally has a cotton candy voice her Visuals are just Stunning I don't know what happened to her over the Year or so but Wow and the Rap just WOW she has gotten so much better at Rapping she killed this Concept (To be Honest all of them did!) Again just WOW they all were Insane the Dancing was just Crazy they went off, the Vocals were Wow just Wow them and Mamamoo are Queens of Vocals, their Visuals were just Stunning They all look so Happy back Together and it's just Amazing, the Rapping was just Wow I don't need to say much it was just WOW (Also that JoyRi Moment near the End was just Adorable!) Anyways I can't wait for you to react to more Red Velvet such as More Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships! If it's Red Velvet then everything is okay. A lot of people say it's a RV typical summer song but it's completely NOT. If you're a true reveluv you can definitely tell apart that this is completely different from their summer bops. It's a ripen summer song of RV and I'm living for that. I hate how Red Velvet have over a 100 songs and yet there's only like 3 dance practices (and one of them is for a bside instead of the title track, then why not just do both??) Like I can't think of ANY reason to not do dance practices especially since sm was like one of the first companies to ever do them (don't quote me on that, quite sure tho) and it's just a loose-loose situation (company has a video less that could've had a whole lot of views and we can't learn the dances properly) I just think it's actually kinda sad, cause it makes learning their choreographies way harder (aka learning from stages)

I loved this, I think it is a tremendous Anthem of Happiness and being yourself. For me, the best songs on the album are Pose and Better Be, followed by Queendom. I know many love Pushin and Pullin and Hello, Sunset but those are actually my least favorites. I do think Pose could have been a title track (give it a MV too SM!), but I think Queendom is a much better song for an MV with a stronger, positive message. Thank you Jeff! You always do such a great breakdown of everything. You are one of the first reactions I look to for dance analysis!
