By the way, they used the korean sign language for "pretty" right when they say "Neo Yeppeuda" (= you're pretty) in the chorus ! It was the first time they used sign language in their choreos and they've continued to incorporate it in most of their choreos after.

Fun fact：the ending pose of pretty U is the starting pose of Very Nice. Very Nice is seventeen‘s the most famous song in South Korea. Some of the baseball team use the song to celebrate when they get score.

Pretty U is sort of a continuation of their 'trilogy' from Adore U -> Mansae -> Pretty U, it's not official or anything but they did mention that this carried on the same themes before culminating in Boom Boom and then their switch to the more 'mature' Don't Wanna Cry era. It's imo one of their most creative choreos ever, and I love this (and Oh My!) a lot. This was such a nostalgic era with their first win and they truly showed their potential with their large group and innovative choreo-making abilities. + the fact that they incorporated Korean sign language for 'pretty' is so heartwarming. Freshteen are amazing!

I've been waiting for this Jeff. This song is so special for me. Aside from Don't Wanna Cry this really made me a CARAT especially when I saw their emotional first win. Seungkwan's voice here is outstanding. This song never gets old, I'm still playing it until today because it is so refreshing. When I saw you react on this...I'm just so happy. Thank you. When you said "this is like high school musical but way better"...my heart just thump like crazy because this is really what I feel when I first heard this song...it made me fall in love(to SEVENTEEN). **Pretty U is the title track of Love and Letter which is their first Full Album. I hope you could also check out the most recent performance video of this from their Ode To You concert last year. Fun Facts: -when they filmed the MV for this, the choreography wasn't finalized yet that's why you don't see any bit of choreo in it - the couch choreography was thought of hoshi while he was in a cafe crossing and uncrossing his legs lol - the ending pose for the Pretty U choreography is the beginning pose for the Very Nice choreography - this song got them their very first music show win - this wasn't supposed to be their title track for this comeback thank you for this Jeff!

Pretty U is by far one of the most creative choreographies i’ve seen. i’d advise you to watch it again to see all the small details, such as what the members do on the sidelines. you should also watch prettu u dance practice “letter version” because it shows what is happening in the back behind the couch!
