I loved the opening for the performance so much. All of their special award show performances (+ their concert performance of God's Menu with the knives) have been so creative. I wish MNET gave them a bigger time slot (and nominations :/) for MAMA so they could have done a special stage for God's Menu and/or Backdoor in addition to Victory Song, which was promotion for Kingdom.

they didn’t present God's Menu and/or Back Door because mn3t didn’t let it, as they were only there to promote the kingdom it had to be something that fit the imposed concept, so the boys chose Victory Song. They couldn’t even present another song, I’m very upset with this neglect that mn3t makes with skz but they use their image all the time and I mean, it's not the first time

@@skwnjur3179 yes, they chose victory song, but because it fit what Mnet wanted, they could have performed more than one song like the other groups, but they literally went there, promoted the kingdom and left. If they had simply gone to perform at an award, they would have presented a recent song and a title. God's Menu and Back Door were great milestones in their career, there would be no reason for them to perform a one-year b-side [I'm sorry if there are grammatical errors]

in addition to the consistency of the quality of their dancing, it's amazing how they can come up with so many different ideas, concepts, and remixes for these all year-end award show performances. from their *legendary* MAMA victory song remix (despite being an almost-two-year-old song) to this more traditional Korean concept with east Asian instruments and props, they truly are SO creative.
