There are some compilation videos of Jimin's dance focus on awards shows. The one at MMA 2019 where he, in white costume, did some acrobatic movement in air beautifully, including spinning is my top favorite.

Taehyung definitely is an underrated dancer he doesn't get much credit for being part of the dance line. But I'm happy to see more reactors who dance for a living/profession take notice of Taehyungs dance skills. He brings a different vibe/aura when it comes to dancing and it's not just the little movements that he adds, but he definitely pays attention to every detail where his whole body is expressive along with his face and that just makes his dancing entertaining and pleasing to the eye. I love that there are never dull moments in his performance he is always changing it up and that's what makes him interesting to watch. Anyways great reaction and I hope you get to watch more of Tae's performances like Singularity. 😁

It's Sep 2024 and the hate train for V has gotten so much worse. I just watched a video made 6 days ago dragging Tae's dead grandma (again) saying that she is in hell and that she self-exited. AND that they hope V will follow his grandma soon. Also pointing to his parents as the reason for V's ugliness. Like WHAT??!??! Calling Tae's solo album a flop even though it is the most critically acclaimed of the maknae line's albums. And that I am NOT A TRUE ARMY coz I wanted accountability for Tae's deleted fancams. Anyhow, sorry, all this makes me really sad so I'm just sharing thoughts with people who love Tae. Everyone in BTS are great artists, Tae just happens to be my fave.

well jimin trained in hiphop/popping when he was younger and then contemporary in high school so i can see why he excels in the on choreo. i also feel that jimin during a dance practice is different than stage jimin. it's almost like he uses practices to block movements & conserve energy while stage jimin goes full out. it'd be nice if you showed him jimin's solo for i need u at 2019 mma and his black swan solo from mots one! great reaction as always.

I respect this guy. He's VERY on point with JImin, scarily accurate. This guy really knows his stuff I feel. Jimin has this *extra* talent with dance, and I think he's the best dancer in K-Pop, but he doesn't get the chance to show it nearly enough and a lot of the time if he isn't given a specific role which pushes his talent forward like in "On", he seems like he fades into the background even though his dance ceiling is actually clearly the highest in the group. The more difficult and important his piece is, the more Jimin shines, but there are plenty of less difficult BTS dances (which are relatively "easy" for him) where he doesn't really show his extra quality.

As a dancer myself, I think J-hope, Jimin and V has the most fluidity in their movement. It seems like their body doesn't even weight and they are flying. This is a thing one does not get by practice. One can definitely ace dancing by practice but the fluidity of movement is often one has as a bodily attribute since the beginning even if it's unpolished.

@@user-qd5gr8ql2w I didn't mention JK because he's a fierce dancer. Which means that his performances are often powerful and gives us a sense of sudden energy. Most often, powerful dancers have a lesser fluidity in their movement as a stylistic choice because the fluidity gives a sense of ease and calmness in the dance which is obviously the opposite of Fierce dancing (Jk's style most often). Everyone have different dancing style and sometimes the styles oppose each other, just like Jimin had hard time to get the hip-hop vibe initially since he had been a contemporary dancer. So, JK has his own beautiful style and he doesn't need to possess or show every style at once since that would result in nothing but chaos. I hope I made myself clear. And I appreciate you clearing the problem since the other person said nothing but "its funny" and it made me confused.

Jungkook in the red and black is my fav. He really goes hard when he dances. It’s really impressive because he’s the main vocalist, lead dancer and center so he’s usually singing a lot of the lines, harmonies and adlibs and his voice remains so stable with bts difficult choreography. Jin, the mysterious one with the red stripe, never danced before BTS. He could never catch on to learn the dances fast. So...on his own...he would go home and rehearse for hours til he got it. I’m not impressed with V’s fancam popularity, but having viewed so many live performances, he stands out as a visual-strong, dramatic. However, as a group I like to see a bit more symmetry, not just one person standing out. Tae has improved markedly over the years as a dancer and is charismatic and beautiful, but I feel his dance moves get overly stylized, him putting his input on a dance move, but not synching with the other BTS members (I see him do this often). He makes for great fancams but not group synchronicity.

Every time I watch one of these I always wonder why people are determined to erase Jimin's start in dance being hip hop and not contemporary. I am always here for Taehyung getting this shine though. It's a bit of a misconception, Jimin's dance history. Many fans talk about his contemporary and modern dance training. Which he did for two years and it's rare in kpop. But he danced hip hop, popping and did martial arts for many more years long before that and after. Which makes the fact that he still keeps all those skills pretty cool.

True! I learnt about his hip hop background too however it’s clear it’s not what he naturally excelled at otherwise he would be on par with J-Hope in styles like mic drop or even on. His contemporary style is what makes him special, whether he did for a shorter time or not is how I see it. Hence why he excels in fake love whereas JHope falls short. His prior training helps to give him an edge though but it’s not where he excels.

Here's info that some still aren't aware of: ❤️JIMIN, at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. When you look at someone perform you should feel emotions... and I get that only from Taehyungs performance. The man just stands out. I don't know what technical dancer means. Performing on stage is the combination of singing, dancing, putting on a show and the vibe. Taehyung just creates the best mood based on the song. His voice, vocals, vibe, improvs, looks, proportionality, confidence all are just crazy🔥 To me he is the best performer in the world💜 Cannot get enough of him and am glad he is not boxed or trained into a style of dance. He is a natural dancer who can do anything and everything from soft to tough untarnished by rules!

can y'all stop introducing Jimin as only a contemporary dancer? it's 2021 ffs Jimins STARTED with hiphop and did many more years of it and THEN he enrolled into a dance school where he studied contemporary for not even 2 years if I am not mistaken. yes, he is a prodigy in contemp but y'all really ned to stop trying to box him into being only a contemporary dancer because he is NOT and yeah, Jimin definitely should be watched live, he's a BEAST, a STORM on stage, nothing compares 🤩

Taehyung / V has the most idols... celebrities who look up to him for his performances and its the reason why he attracts so many fans and has most views on his dance fancams too. V is a natural at dancing and has that unique swag, magnetic quality to him but the fandom constantly underrates his skills because he wasnt trained as a dancer before debut unlike the 3J. Anyways taehyung's dance videos are the most fun to watch because of his fluidity and how he embodies and incorporates the song while dancing. His vibe is just effortless.
