What would you recommend (to make the data as accurate a reflection of) if you buy this software when you've got half-used materials, made-up components and unsold products? Do I really need to weigh all of my ingredients??? Thanks!

Just got your starter kit and really looking forward to getting into perfumery! While you cover Fine fragrance, have you ever considered dabbling in roll on oils? As this is something I’d love to get into more but yet just like everything in perfumery, information is very minimal! I was wondering how would alcohol even blend with a carrier oil? I wouldn’t have thought it would. Definitely a good idea for a direction of video you could do 😁

That’s lovely to hear! You’re right; carrier oils don’t generally mix with alcohol. I’ve never made roll on oils myself but if you wanted to, you’d never use alcohol and always replace it with your carrier instead

Attar perfumes are made with carrier oils in place of alcohol - no alcohol is in them. And you’re right, carrier oils do not blend in perfumers alcohol. Attars also don’t project as well as alcohol perfumes, since there’s no alcohol to evaporate and project the perfume.

Great video. Were you able to transfer information from Formulair directly into Craftybase? Asking since I have several hundred raw materials (including costs) and dozens of formulas in Formulair. Formulair is really great. Really helped my progression. Is there a limit to the number of raw materials and/or formulas that can be entered in Formulair? Any added features planned for the future? The value for money is already outstanding. I would consider paying more for new features. Thank you. Hope you are still enjoying the perfume adventure.

Hi, no I didn’t transfer costs from Formulair. I don’t track all of my 10ml samples in Craftybase, only the larger amounts I purchase for finished perfumes. Really glad Formulair has helped you. No, there are no limits on raw materials or formulas. I’m no longer adding any new features to Formulair, however I am working on a new software which will have many more features so definitely keep an eye out for that!

If ever you are looking for people to test the beta version, I would be happy to volunteer. Curious to know what new features the new software will include, but totally understand if you need to keep things quiet until the launch.

No the equipment kit is equipment only, it says the contents in the product description
