Hey guys! So after filming and editing I realized I forgot a couple; I have KKW Body II which is strictly for decor, I also have SJP Lovely sitting on the shelf which is my bedtime scent, and I have Juliannas Perfume Red Carpet Affair which was sitting with some of my PR stuff so I forgot to mention it. Buying and decluttering, buying and decluttering... I don't really see the point in buying full bottles, just to declutter them shortly after. That's not a sustainable minimalist approach to me. You can test fragrances thoroughly by buying decans. You can still review all of them, putting up a picture of the bottle on the screen. I personally don't mind that at all. And if you truly love something, you can buy it.

It works well for me because I always find someone to buy them or to gift them to. Its also what I do on KZbin so it doesn’t feel unsustainable or wasteful to me 😊. If I was just buying for myself and not reviewing or sharing, I wouldn’t accumulate this many this quickly, not to mention some are sent to me from companies. It’s a hobby I enjoy; some bottles work for many years, others don’t and I’m happy with that 😊 part of the excitement for me is the full presentation rather than a decant:)

You might not see the point but I do. It's a hobby. A lot of us collect perfumes. And I always purchase the full size because if it doesn't end up working out for me, I will either sell it or I will gift it. So, nothing goes to waste therefore it's not wasteful in the slightest. Also, Ilythia does this for KZbin. Not only is it her passion but it is her job. So, nothing wasteful there either. Mkay?

I would like to thank you for these declutter videos. I have learned a lot from you and have started to declutter the perfumes that I am not absolutely in love with. I’m surprised how fast used perfumes sell. Sometimes I don’t even lose money when i resell so I don’t feel bad for buy more perfumes. I use the money I get to buy different perfumes.

thank you so much. yes it's a constant journey to eventually curate my collection and make it perfect for me. Not every perfume I receive in my home ends up making it into my personal collection. I review alot of perfumes that I don't actually adopt if that makes sense. Flora futura yeah I pretty much just let that go immediately as I had bought it rather impulsively. I wanted to review it for you guys regardless. But I think people assume that everything I review is something I'm going to keep and that's not the case :). Manifesto I gifted to a friend because it was nice but not my fave :)

Bring those perfumes out of the closet and enjoy them! Yes they are expensive, and they will eventually start to turn when exposed to light, but it takes longer than you think. I had a bottle of Coco Mademoiselle from 2014 that I kept on my dresser for the last 7 years that finally needed to be tossed but it was lovely for the first 6 years. No matter how careful you are about not exposing them to light they will eventually need to be tossed. You spent a lot of money on them so put them where you can see them and enjoy them.

I used to keep my perfumes under the bathroom sink when I lived with family, it made me sad cause the bottles were so prettyyy, now that I live alone I have them sitting on my bathroom sink where I can see them everyday and be happy 😅💕

Hi Ilythia, I love the Chloe bottle. It's so Art Deco. I don't have it myself, so I don't know what it smells like. Sometimes I love a bottle and it's scent, but I don't want to put it on my skin. Kind of like walking through a flower garden, and smelling all the flowers. 💕⚘🌿

Everything I review doesn't make it's way into my "collection". Just like make up or other things I'm sent, I don't keep everything. And yes, as I had mentioned in a previous video, the Fico Di Amalfi was not a winner for me so that didn't even make it's way into the collection so to speak. I think it gets confusing because people assume everything I review is something I add to my collection. That's not the case :).

I have two samples coming in I’m really excited and curious about, Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb and Juliette has a Gun Lady Vengeance. I’m slowly trying to work my way through the Juliette has a Gun collection. Have you ever smelled either scents? I’d love your opinion. I also got several samples of Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. I didnt end up keeping any of the KKW for my own personal collection. I just wanted to review them. The Jeff Leatham ones were goregous! Sunset Riot I did also decide to let go of. I knew someone who really wanted it and I have so many perfumes I decided it would get better use with them seeing how it did have a similar vibe to BR 540. It was a blind buy, and absolutely stunning. But in the end when I'm trying to keep curating that perfect collection for myself, I did pass it to someone else :)

I’ve discussed those ones in previous videos. Tribeca is incredible but I didn’t feel like it suited any occasions for me, so I passed it along to someone who would wear it more. Alien essence I found out was too deep for me, and rolling in love I had other similar perfumes I enjoyed more. 😊

The di Gioia line for me is just too... fresh and light. I've heard that they don't last for that long (on some people). I kept smelling the Ocean one thinking I'd like it and be more sure about it, but it smelled like Febreeze to me.

I just think the EDP is a bit sweeter and more feminine and just suits me better. The extrait has a bitter almond note. I thought initially I wanted the extrait but I needed to take more time with them.

EDT is a bit more citrusy and has ylang. I was hoping I would like it despite the ylang but it was a no for me. The EDP is a bit more substantial and isn’t citrusy, more of a softer year round scent. It took me a while to like it, initially gave me play-doh.

there are so many amazing niche scents out there - it would be hard for me to advise you just one :). my advice is to smell as many as you can, watch reviews and videos, and learn what kind of notes you enjoy in a perfume so you can better hunt yourself down some :)
