I come back to this video when my subconscious is confused & I need a reset. This song resonates for multiple reasons and I’m thankful. It’s either a painful-yelling cry or the most joyous solo dancing I achieve. Perfume is transcendent. They go beyond the human experience and tickle emotions we don’t have words for yet.

Rhizomatiks had a good collaborator in the Perfume brand and built-in performance design (including music and dance) which allowed Rhizomatiks to develop and push the boundaries of their abilities in stage design and performance enhancement with technology. Welcome back my lovely, you have no idea how much I missed you. REFRAME 19 is masterpiece of a reimagining, and you can't beat the scale of the outdoor one (please come back), but there is nothing, NOTHING like the original. Nocchi's pissed face is particularly scathing in this version, and their outfits are some of my favorites (like Versace lite... very, very lite). All the effects line up the best in this version, like the laser pointing and raising and lowering out of the boxes. I prefer the dance solos the the "pass the boogie" bit, but other than that, this is hands down the best.
