Roses Vanille is one of my absolute favorites! It’s almost identical to Intense Cafe to my nose, but is the slightest bit brighter and has wayyyy stronger performance.

I recommend trying the lighter fragrances first as I personally wouldn't be able to smell/judge very light Daisy o so Fresh having smelled Roses Vanille/Scandal/Olympea Intense etc. ;)

Daisy eau so fresh is very similar w chanel chance eau tendre and bvlgari omnia coral. Except the dry down which i cant take. Prefer eau tendre and omnia coral. Enjoyed your video btw!

It's so fun to try samples. It gives a break to the wallet (or not lol) The Olympea line is amazing, the Intense one is my go to for fall. I wear it since 3 years now. The Daisy line by Marc Jacobs are easy reach too but not enough deep for me. And the lasting power is horrible on me. After one hour it's gone.

I really like the intense one too out of all the flankers cause I feel it's the perfect balance of sweetness and the amber really amps up the sweetness but not in a bothering way whereas a few amber fragrances can be too overpowering this one is amber done right and totally an easy grab and go during winters ❤️

Late to the party, but I actually just got my large bottle of Olympea in the mail today. It was a blind buy for me, and I love it so much. It works very well with my skin. It smells like a sweet salty vacation on me. I get a salty jasmine caramel vanilla with amber and cashmere wood. It’s sweet but just enough to where it’s not suffocating or giving me a toothache. Very good in humid weather. A little airy. Today has been humid and hot and it’s been on all day. It’s been about 6 hours and I still smell it. I haven’t tried the intense but I was thinking about it 👀

I’ve started buying samples too and recently got a roses vanille sample. roses elixir by montale is lovely. So Scandal is my favourite but I do get honey from the sweetness of the tuberose. That’s why I love it, they made that honey animalic note from flowers and that’s a magic of perfumery😍 so to me it totally fits the line 🍯 Olympéa Legend has no salt - stewed honeyed plums, like mulled wine 🍷 it’s a crazy and unique scent.

You are right, give it time. You love them now because your nose has been trained and recognizes good ones from not so good ones. I hope you get to love Olympea. I have not gotten to love that one yet as I was a “no sweets” person, but I am in love with Olympea Aqua Legere and that one is salty and plenty of vanilla. It shines on the hot days of summer. Give Olympea a try during different seasons and see what works best. Please give it a try several times and perhaps you can do a video on Olympeas later.

Olympea starts out nice but gets gross on my skin and makes me sick. Glad I got a sample before blind buying. I have several samples of Roses Vanille. Some days I love it, some days it's too much. I prefer Instant Crush. I've cut back on buying full bottles and am loving getting samples and travel sizes. I realized I get bored too quickly and I'll probably never finish a bottle of 95% of the scents I own. 🤷‍♀️

Yes! Roses Vanille and Velvet Vanilla were my first and safest Mancera purchases. I love both so much especially to wear to bed. I also bought Florence from Swiss Arabian same bottle as Casablanca. Rose Vanille and Florence smell exactly the same wish I didn't purchase Florence but it's brighter than Rose Vanille.

Roses Vanille is a monster fragrance perfect for cold weather. You living in Puerto Rico i don't think would work for your weather. I ordered Rose Rouge by Van Cleef and Arpels and received it last week. It reminds me alot of Roses Vanille but it changes alot whereas Roses Vanille stays the same for me anyway. The dry down of Rose Rouge is the same as Roses Vanille in my opinion. They are both a love for me.

I tried MJ Eau So Fresh a long time ago and I remember thinking that it kind of reminded me of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre EDT. I felt like I was one of the few people who wasn’t crazy about either of those fragrances, especially the Chanel one. I think the grapefruit note bothers me in some fragrances. My husband on the other hand loved Eau Tendre on me.

I like olympea intense a lot! I didn’t have the best experience with olympea (it smelled metallic on my skin 😭😭) but intense is better so far. The only problem is that I sometimes get this grape smell from it and its not exactly what I’m looking for in my perfume. Any ideas for layering to make the intense more vanilla?

Roses Vanille smells like Oud to me and I don’t like Oud. My favorite Mancera fragrance that I recomend are Black Vanilla, Choco Violette, Chocolate & Roses and Coco Vanille.

The Mancera smells like sweet tuberose and bubblegum? I feel like that sample was Velvet Vanille and not Roses Vanille. Mancera doesn't put the name of the fragance in the sample tube so maybe it was switched.

I wish I loved Olympea intense. I blind bought it and was so excited and when I sprayed it. The first thought was bug spray. I hate that fragrance and it makes me sad.

Kirra I know what you mean, same happened to me with the original except it smells like raw eggs, I almost threw up, had to go wash up. But I really like the intense though. Funny how our skins react differently to scents.
