I love the original Good Girl. It’s one of my favorites! I also have Legere and really like it, too. For me, the original is for autumn and winter, and the Legere is for spring and summer.

I'm happy that the flankers are better then the OG, because that is what we all expect from perfumers to come up with better perfumes when they launch something. When they release faint perfumes we are disappointed because we expect to see evolution as time goes on.

omg I do agree about the l’extase line, the flankers are SO much better than the og. As for the olympea line, I was not a fan of either one, because the intense turned into this musky synthetic grape scent on my skin! Maybe the amber? But it was way better than the og which was actually metallic and repulsive on me (maybe the ambergris??). I haven’t gotten the chance to try la belle le parfum, I hope it comes to macys soon!

I love only one intense and la belle le parfum more than their originals too. Also I like Chanel coco Mademoiselle intense more than edp. Chance edt more than edp. Alien sublime and mirage and fusion more than edp. Mon guerlain bloom of rose edt is such an underrated flanker soooo nice. Roses musk intense is better than edp. absolutely blooming is way way better than miss Dior edp. Oh I could go on for some reason the flankers are better than the originals in most cases! Loved this video!

I totally agree on Olympea Intense , La Belle and Scandal Night being much better than the original version :) Kenzo World Power is so powerfull (BEAST MODE!) yet, not overwhelming:) you can wear it even in winter !

Paulina have you tried LB Love is Love flanker? I adore it! Was a blind buy from the notes and hard to get in stores so I ordered online and did not disappoint. I also never liked OG LB, doesn’t feel very feminine to me, and Love is love has a whipped cream note so lovely!

I love Olympea Aqua! it's my fave flanker by far!! the intense smells lovely on paper, on my skin it turns kind of synthetic smelling :( loved the video!

Having blind bought Olympea Legend, that hot mess in a bottle, I decided to keep just the original. Living in a tropical, humid climate, it is hard to find a summer gourmand. Olympea Original fills that bill. But after Legend? I'm so skeptical to try any other flankers.

@@luadiva I haven't tried Legend yet. But from the 3 I have tried (OG, Intense, and Aqua) Aqua is by far the lightest, most airy one which is why it's my reference. would recommend it, but you do have to like the OG DNA because they do smell similar. I am originally from Puerto Rico (tropical, humid, hot weather year round) I do think Aqua would work in that type of scenario. Having lived in a tropical island for most of my life, I think that is why i steer clear from heavy, syrupy fragrances. I am more drawn to lighter, airy, fresher scents.

@@irmaris7 thank you! I went to Fragrantica to look up Aqua and there are two: the EDT and Aqua Legere EDP. Which one do you have? I have appreciated that the salty note is what "cuts the sugar" in the OG, which is why is it is my rare gourmand that I can wear in high heat&humidity.

Could someone help me to figure this one out? I got Olympea OG, which I love, on a tester in the store it had orange/golden juice, just like in the video, but when I bought it online, it has pink juice and a sweet floral scent, that I don't like at all. What's the matter with Olympeas? (And yup, I am absolutely positive, that I liked and tested Olympea OG and not intense, as the bottle had a transparent cap and not a brown one).

La Belle Fleur Terrible has very weak longevity on me and it's kinda smell like rotten fruit at some point. It's supposed to be a fresh scent, so was to be expected, but really not worth the price imo. The bottle is very pretty tho. I usually go for any intense version of a perfume. It just suits me better. And now you just convinced me to buy l'extase rose absolue.

Perfume is such a personal and subjective thing, Everyone's taste is different as is their olfactory sensitivities, and the way someone's brain interprets a fragrance is also a factor as is body chemistry's interaction to the fragrance notes. Having said that, personally, I think Alien Goddess is a gorgeous fragrance. I normally don't go for a fragrance with coconut accords but that one is a natural coconut scent as opposed to tanning lotion coconut and it is a top note that melts fairly quickly into a luscious, sexy blend of floral, cashmeran, amber and gourmand notes and as it develops and dries down it becomes more beautiful. But it's not everyone's taste. Many people like YSL Liberte' and I don't at all. For me it smells nothing like what the notes say it should. I also totally dislike Michael Kors Super Gorgeous. Had a sample of that and was very disappointed in the scent. However, I am a huge fan of all Nina Ricci fragrances.

I don’t want anyone else to waste 70 dollars, so I’ve gotta leave this comment. I bought Olympea intense about a year ago bc of Paulina, and this is no shade to Paulina at all, but idk it smelled HORRID. Like rancid. I put it on and got salt and Amber, but the Amber was really sharp and synthetic smelling and over time it mixed with the salt note and turned into a weird body odor smell.. tried wearing it on just the clothes to make sure it wasn’t an issue with skin chemistry, but still awful. So bad that my best friend and boyfriend told me not to wear it again on different days. Lol

Try Olympea Legend instead. The plum note is beautiful, and the salt-vanilla combo is creamy and warm without being overpowering. The intense version seems more dark and caramel in the vanilla note so I prefer the Legend. But also consider that body chemistry in the end is what decides how a scent performs on this or that person. Flankers are usually the way to get your own working version of the scent. Otherwise it may be that the design house DNA for that fragrance just doesn't work with a person's skin - so if one finds a scent that works beautifully for them, that house will probably have other scents that will also work

Hey Paulina, I usually do not comment on anything, but I can tell that at least in this video you do not seem as chill and motivated as usual. KZbinrs always as some point seem to have some type of pressure to fulfill expectations. Just post videos when ever you feel like it and when you feel good, otherwise they just don't feel right.
