My grandfather used to use this fragrance.when he passed away I got this fragrance bottle may be a quarter of a tola.i used it as a part of my grandfather 's memory.after it was over I just put some water in the bottle .I used to shake the bottle and then put a little amount on my palm and apply on my body.even this would last as a pleasent smell for 3 to 4 hours . actually we have forgotten our legacy of attars since it has been overshadowed by EDT and body sprays.thanks Nikhilji you are doing a great deed by reminding and inspiring people to know, understand and use the real and natural fragrances of our Indian attars.🙏thanks again.

This and their itr zaffran are so good in the one month long Mumbai winter. I would love a colder clime to really use my itr. I had an oud itr, kind of a cheap one say 500 for 3ml from md ayub, and I forgot about it. I found it after about 4 to 5 years, it has gone thick and developed a slight fecal note. But if I apply it on my clothes the night before, it turns into the loveliest incense note the next morning and I don't have to wait through the fecal note to go. I have been layering the super Malik shamama with this oud. not that it needs layering. But I have to confess that I have been layering this with Tresor, vanilla oil, zaffran itr. It's a real party.

I have some questions, 1) Whats the deference between Attar, Perfume and Deodorant ? 2) As we apply deodorant to out body I mean directly to our skin, in a same way Attar has to be applied directly to out skin or to cloths 3) Which is long lasting Attar, Deodorant or Perfume ?

Consider Deodorant and perfumes (EDP, EDT) as chemical substitute to attars. Initially the only perfume was attar/itr, as it was the actual fragrance oil extracted from flowers, woods etc. Later they mixed it with alcohol and chemical fixatives to make it last long in the form of deos and EDP s....and now a days I don't think there are any "natural" deos or EDP. Even cheap attars today are purely chemical oils to cater to mass market. But if you want to experience the ultimate in perfumery , which is in harmony with the feelings of peace, and calm for the body and soul, there's no substitute to natural attars/itr.... mind you initially you may not even like the smell of some...but once you understand it ... there's no turning back. They are relatively cheap, if you consider that you are getting pure natural oils....I only use naturally derived attars now, as synthetic perfumes give me a headache. For more information, watch the many educational videos done by nikhil bhai on this channel where he explains in detail various natural attars and oils. Chemical attars will last longer than deos or EDPs....any natural attar, will not be able to last as long....but the feeling of it is unmatched even by the most expensive of the synthetic deos or perfumes.
