So glad, everyone is trying to mint their own portion just by simply mixing oil and ethnol. Especially Indian brands and so called "indian perfumers" and ofcourse middle eastern manufacturers as well. I am at such stage in my journey where I can say that i am soooo done with these clone brands, so done with them. Taking break for a while from collecting and will try to declutter my collection this year.

Mujhe lagta hai sir, sirf hamara oud hindi dunya ke kisi bhi designer perfume se 1000 times better hai, aur ye hamare india ka product bhi hai. Yes these brands which have such a high demand in India ought to open their own stores or announce partners at least. I have been looking for a few perfumes but in order to buy an authentic product researched a few sellers but it's confusing no information is available on websites. Bhut sahi advice dia hai aapne. Mai bhi ekdum eisa hi sochta hoon. Mere hisaab se medium price good quality retro perfumes aur kuch niche artistic perfumes kaafi hai. Or go for a favourite good note like vetiver, iris, leather and buy the best from different brands. ARMAF is bottling boredom these days. Maison Alhambra made me scream curse words. Mai aapna collection 20 saal se below 15 hi rakhta aaya hoon. Inme clone bhi hai. I give away most to nieces and nephews. Isi liye khus hu. I actually haven't used many and I don't have that library of names and notes in mind. Ya toh accha hai ya pheka. And I still buy Cool water, Aventus. Givenchy is new found love.

Sir please make some more videos on Indian materials. Kya grades hai, kaise budget mein liya jaaye, processes etc. I recently walked into a Sephora because I wanted to try some fragrances after a long time. Also shoppers stop. Honestly mujhe sirf Tom ford kaa oud wood appeal kiya. It hardly lasted for an hour on me and was way out of my budget. Rest I did not find any difference in the perfumes. Sab kaa almost ek jaisa opening mid and same woody musky dry downs. Now, I am applying khus and mogra and Chandan attars without getting any headaches or olfactory fatigue. Am quite happy in the traditional Indian perfumery state at present and somehow I find it less boring even wearing the same things daily.

Nikhil Ji, I am in agreement with you. Go for genuine stuff. I am a believer in Indian perfumery and its roots. There are new areas in terms of Synthetic Biology where principles of engineering are used to re-engineer the science behind perfumery to mimic natural compounds, resins and resinoids. Shoes fragrances like patchauli bags which are given in Taj hotel Mumbai f. How to use flowers and flowering plants and then create natural perfumes at home as an experiment series ..

f. Plant materials are mostly steam or hydro distilled. There's CO2 extraction and solvent extraction but only the distillation processes can be done by us at homes. Mostly using something like a pressure cooker. Or you could just buy Ruhs from reputed attar houses.

Aapki baat se bilkul agree h. Rasasi and Armaf like brands don't even have stores. Even their websites are so ugly and useless. Because of that their fake bottles are sold over Internet. And Rasasi website is just a showcase. People can't even buy their original products. And new Indian perfume brands once make money by marketing then they decrease the quality.

Apne bilkul shi kaha, these perfume brand own us, we are making them famous aur ye hme uske badle ek genuine store ya price offer nhi kr pa rhe. Its our mistake that we are accepting them. Aj ek seller ko thoda sa promote krdo to wo next day se sbhi perfumes pe price increase kr deta hai. Same goes to the clone brands. Jaise redmi ne india mein aa k cheap rates pe mass audience ko target kia tha same whi ye kr rhe hain aur jb thode se popular ho jaate hain to ye apne rates drastically increase krte hain. Brands like armaf jinke CDNIM ko phle log 1500 de k bhi nhi lena chahte the aj wo 4000+ pe sale kr rhe hain. Brands like lattafa, afnaan bhi yhi krne wale hain. Hme pta hona chahiye hum kis cheez k liye kya pay kr rhe hain. Log bheed chaal mein jo clone aa rhe h wo le rhe hain kyunki 2-3 mhine phle start hue kisi perfume reviewer ne usko 90-95 Percent accurate bta dia ho. Sad really ye hai ki wo paid promotion krke exact clone btane wale reviewers khud unn clones brands ko use nhi krte. Agr koi clone sach mein acha hai then it deserves all the appreciation. Wo brands jo abhi whatsapp ya insta pe sell kr rhe hain wo bhi 1-2 youtube reviews k baad apne price drastically increase krte hain and we all know after 5-6 months of fame ye apne products ki quality kmm krte hain. Finally we should stick to what we like. Fir wo 200-400rs ka unknown brand ho ya koi niche fragrance. As Nikhil sir said, spend your money wisely. Finally i would like to see your first podcast with Perfume Gyaan (Arpit). 2 OG's with same personality and views. Your podcast will shake this whole unorganised perfume market in india. (Mark my words 🫡)

Not to spend money lavishly on unworthy perfumes. 2. How neesh and designer perfume brands are ripping of customers by hiking the prices constantly and unfairly. 3. Perfume reformulation has now become common place in perfumery world that must be discouraged. 4. Clone making brands must approach their own creativity factor in their products. 5. Brother, you have a beautiful soul. Humble, down to earth, modest and wisdom. Most young folks are dwindling in the noise of the capitalists trying to milk everything for money and money alone.. I mean i dont know if this is a fair comparison but just like the music industry, when people start making music just to earn money .. songs start sounding like Tony kakkar .. people slowly start forgetting Nusrat fateh ali and many more Mavericks who gave their entire lives in pursuit of good music. I believe the same is happening in the perfume industry. Companies are backed by money minded heads as opposed to frag heads who live the passion of discovering new fragrances. Great to have heard you letting your thoughts out on this. keep up the good work. 🙏
