Nathalie Lorson is my favorite cheapie perfumer. She's a bloody genius when it comes to creating something beautiful for a great price! I own several from her and they're some of the best in my personal collection! Also, PLEASE more of these cheapie collabs with ATH! I love you two together and how your knowledge plays off of each other! One last thing, I am wearing a cheapie which is simply BRILLIANT which you MUST smell! It's called Hanae Mori HiM EDP! I also think that Aaron would really like it as well! It's been consistently compared to Gucci Pour Homme II. I've never smelled any Gucci fragrance, but HiM is KILLER, especially for Fall/Winter!

The first two are some of my favourite fragrances, but I really didn't think Aaron would like them. I'd be interested in Aaron trying some older fragrances - you can get some older releases remarkably cheaply - and while some are dated, I think that some are surprisingly high quality for the money, and some are still modern enough. Since I have a pretty stupid collection of Lattafa fragrances - i'd be really tempted to get him to smell those too - but thats probably more my interest only! Nice video. He comes across well - dare I say it, more relaxed and friendly than even on his own channel.

Not sure if it's changed in this years production from previous ones but the current Zara 'rich warm addictive' is beautiful. Literally says on the back Rum (or Rhum as it's spelt here), Tobacco and Vanilla bourbon. Sums it up perfectly.

I just got a vintage bottle of Polo Sport and coming back to it as a fragrance enthusiast, I’ve gotten a whole new appreciation for it. It’s really quite a bold scent with somewhat of an animalic nature for such a fresh/aquatic/gym scent. I would be so curious to hear Aaron break down vintage Polo Sport

Oh ya, that's an oldie but goodie that should in everyone's rotation, I get a lot of complems with that one while just out running my errands throughout town. Last time I was at a discount store I pretty much wiped them out, along with a few Red, and like three bottles of Curve and Cool Water(the EDT though, the EDP sucks @ass!). They're great for just everyday use when you want to smell good but not necessarily looking to empress, they also make great gifts for my nephews.

I love this series. I’d be curious to see him smell molecule style scents especially from escentric molecules. Molecule 01 is marketed as a single note fragrance but many say there are other aromachemicals at play.

It is a single molecule - however it isn’t iso e super per se. It is a different isomer of the same molecule that isn’t available to the general public (unlike other isomers like Sylavamber or Timbersilk)

An idea occurred to me. Not cheapies, and not clones - but related to both. We all know there area some cases where people have said certain designers, or cheaper releases are similar to some niche ones. Not clones, sometimes they even came first - but alternatives, or perhaps just vaguely similar. It would be really interesting if Aaron got the comparisons - and if he could instantly tell which the cheaper one was - and whether he thought the price difference was really worth it - or he just says "well for the price - just buy the cheap one and wear it all the time" You touched on one in the video of course - Individual vs original santal (I'm told Montblanc got there first). But there are numerous others.... I'm sure you kmow the Fragrance apprentice thinks that Creed Viking Cologne is rather similar to Baldaserrini ultimate (also made first). I have tried it - and rather like it - but not smelled the creed yet. Maybe I won't bother. Then there are many others - Tom Ford Beau de Jour / Davidoff Zino etc. You could be naughty and throw one or two actual clones in there - see if he spots them (people go on about Armaf Craze being good - no idea), but I think you'd have more than enough from above

I was a little surprised when Aaron mentioned how the majority of people prefer fragrances with softer projection. I shouldn't be because I can see why but I was. Such a shame, imo. If I was ever lucky enough to have Aaron create my own fragrances, you can be sure I would let him go friggin' nuts making the scent project like Pompei exploded.

Dude - I am a woman but I 100% agree with Aaron about green scents. I don't like them very much - except for vetiver! Maybe that's something for Aaron to think about? He's such a great perfumer I bet he could do something incredible with HIS take on a "green" fragrance featuring vetiver! Love you two when you get together...xox

I really love Burberry - London ! I really like Aaron aswell, but i do not agree that is a "green" fragrance. Most i have get from it is lavender which i like. Really good quality for the price, soft but prominent projection and good performance.

Raghba Wood Intense is insane value. It took me on a journey to an abandoned church in a forest, damp with burning incense with some leaves. Slightly musty sweet.

Unfortunately it has been reformulated. Used to be a 12 hour beast mode juice and now it's a shadow of its former self. More like a cologne version now. A real shame and an insult to Nathalie Lorsen's original formula.

I remember when I first got Bentley For Men Intense all I could smell was pencil shavings and not very strong nearly 2yrs on it has changed dramatically to me with the booziness and woody sweetness and much more potent

Same thing is happening to me. The older it gets the more leathery and the more strong it is getting. When I first started using it it was very weak and smelt like rubber gloves now it's becoming an actual scent. Weird

Individuel is my signature office frag, I love it and have a couple back up bottles. I haven't tried Bentley or the Raghba yet, but I really want to. Burberry London I bought recently to have as a Christmas scent. I love the profile but I swear it only lasts about 30 minutes on me. Very disappointed.

I will preface this comment with the statement that yes, I do realize that a budget fragrance will not replicate accurately or in a palatable way a certain note that a big house can pull off, BUT, through cheapies I've realized what I prefer and what I don't without breaking the bank. Alcohol, like in terms of rum for example, are not for me at all, just hate it. Vetiver, not much for me although I think it's rarely done properly. Lemon, hard to not smell it in a fragrance and not scream furniture polish. Everyone has their preferences.
