I learn a lot watching Aaron. I own several clones and I’ve noticed that I can’t pick up much scent on first spray but as the day goes on they start to radiate. But the scent they are radiating is more often than not very simple with one or two notes coming through. This gives me a mall oil vibe. I can buy a bath and body works pineapple oil for around 10 bucks. I’ve found the sweet spot is with Mancera fragrances. They give you that heavy base oil vibe but they smell more sophisticated and well blended than most clone houses. My two cents.

Chris, is it possible to ask Aaron to identify which Aventus take is best be it clone like cdnim or inspired by like Hacivat and include aventus grail batches to determine which dna smells the best or the blend that smells the best version or take on what should be the King's royal blood
@paulwoolgar5384 Жыл бұрын
Great video, Chris! Always a pleasure seeing the two of you together. One *slight* thing, though: the CDNIM Parfum is not the same juice as the Limited Edition Parfum (which is the one that Aaron reviewed very positively recently). The Limited Edition is noticeably smoother and more 'airy' than the straight parfum.
@VTun1ng4 ай бұрын
Really? Many claims that Pure Parfume (edp) and Limited Edition parfume are same juice, just that LE is in fancy packing
@apair40022 ай бұрын
@@VTun1ng Nope. LE Parfum & CDNIM Pure Parfum smells different. I own edt, le, edp & pure parfum. LE more fruitiness & you can smell the pineapple. Pure Parfum less lemony & heavy metallic smell. Le much more well rounded in term of freshness, frutiness, smokiness & spl. From opening, drydown till almost skin scent, I can tell which one edt, le & pure parfum. Overall pure parfum is dark version of Le. Simple.

Personally, I don't get metallic notes from CDNIM parfum, it's like smoky OG aventus and is very roundly blended and nicely done 👌 There is a note or two not in the original though creed fomula which makes it both different and better (more masculine) than the current formulation and gets too many compliments 😀

0:50 I eould describe the scent as a 60 year old heavy smoker that took a shower with Old Spice shower gel. Then, he put on his wool suit that has been sitting on his closet for years do it has that "old, moldy, animalic, salty scent. Im summary, Aventus has a bright green citrus peel essential oil scent, then you get some slight fruitiness, a blast of cigarette smoke, some white florals (cleanliness), and you end you with a wet moss and ambergris finale with a dry down that smells like a camfire smoke by the ocean.
