Hey Everyone! Today I have another subscriber requested video for you. I was asked to do a video about perfumes that celebrities wear which was way more challenging that I thought it would be. I don't know who a lot of the current celebrities are so I tried to stick with people I know. I can definitely do a part 2 if you like this. I hope you enjoy!!

Loved this video, although I am not a big fan of celebrities either, I do feel that it is interesting to find out what they were wearing. Guerlain was a very popular house among celebrities. I read years ago that George Balanchine, who was the ballet master of the New York City ballet, used to pick fragrances from Guerlain, and each one of the prima ballerinas would receive their signature perfume from the house, and he would want them to wear it when they would perform on stage. ✨⭐️🌟♥️

I saw that Ulta started carrying more of the Nemat perfume oils, and an Egyptian Musk oil is one of them. When I first smelled Narciso Rodriguez in the black bottle I thought it was slightly inspired by CBK since they were friends.

Hi Sarah! So fascinating. I’m very indifferent about celebs as well. You covered so many interesting people in history. I remember reading Taylor wearing Moon Sparkle in magazines. I love that you brought up Holly Madison because I remember hearing about her love for Angel back in the 2000's. Whenever I see Fracas I think of Madonna. Princess Diana wore Quelques Fleur on her wedding. I also knew MJ wore Bal a Versailles AND I think if I am remembering correctly from a documentary… Louis Armstrong also wore Bal a Versailles! My father used to play his records for me as a kid. Thank you for doing this Sarah! I know you don’t care for celebs but you filmed this anyway. Looking forward to the Scenting History!

Thank you for saying that about Hypnotic Poison. I seriously thought my nose had just changed and that I didn't care for it any longer or that my body chemistry changed. It certainly does not smell like the one I wore back in 2001. Sucks when they do that. Ugh! Anyway, interesting video. Thank you ♥

Yes! This was fun! I don't care for celebrities either, but this was interesting. Sure - if you want to do a part 2 I'd love it! I have 3 Nemat oils. Egyptian Musk, which is nice... very pleasant. Another called Ruh Kewra Fragrance. I can't describe it. It just smells like this handmade body cream stuff that I got at a hippie store in the mall as a teenager (in the 90s)...so it's more of a nostalgic, limbic system thing for me. And lastly, my favorite- Majmua. I love that so much, it's almost like a signature scent for me even though I don't have a signature. Sometimes I like to mix it with patchouli and it's gloriously hippie-dippie. I can't find the info now, but I read somewhere that Majmua oil is used medicinally in India and In the Middle East to treat anxiety and depression. I believe it!

I didn't know Fracas was so popular among stars, I'm not a great fan of tuberose. I know that Michael Jackson wore also Black Orchid by Tom Ford. I'd like a part two 😊❤

Awesome video. Fun little fact: when the Arcade Fire met David Bowie, Win Butler said that he smelled so good, it was like an alien had just entered the room, supposedly he was wearing Silver Mountain Water By Creed. PS: the vocalist of the Psychadelic Furs is Richard Butler, not Morrisey (The Smiths).

RIP Biggie 🙏🎤 I had no clue he wore that cologne… I’ll have to track a sample of that one. Rip to Bowie too. I always known Madonna and Courtney Love wore Fracas which makes my stomach turn Lol But I guess it’s popular in Hollywood. I think I heard Kim Basinger wore it too. So much Tom Ford! I wrote a whole report on Princess Diana in 7th grade and I remember reading about her fragrances. I really dislike Courtney Love too. I was 16 in 2010 and I remember reading in Teen Vogue that Taylor Swift wore Moon Sparkle, Kim Kardashian wore Michael Kors, Vanessa Hudgens wore Pink Sugar.

I have the Abdul Kareem Egyptian musk. It’s a nice one. It smells a bit fresher and zingier than many others. Not very strong though. I believe Sarah Jessica Parker also wore this musk but combined with other perfumes.

Hi Sarah! I haven’t had a chance to watch this yet, but I was just thinking the other day about an idea for your channel. It might be fun for you and your daughter to do together!
