I’ve just purchased Elizabeth Taylor’s Passion- I sampled it earlier today and kept getting this complex beautiful strong Spicey floral, it’s gorgeous for the price! I went straight back to buy. I think you would love it. I got it for $30 from a local chemist.

I love perfume oils! Especially now as after corvid it's hard to smell any alcohol based perfume 👃 love the musk oil, and Amber, and vanilla, and Egyptian, and the there's all other kinds!

Hi RuthAnne - I've binge watched all your vids now - eagerly awaiting the next. Also, I've recently acquired a handful of your recs and am really enjoying them but more on those later. For now - I'm hoping for a review on Hermes Caleche coming to a theater near us! You recommended that one to me a while back , as I am a consummate sandlewood lover, and wow, you were so right - I'm in love! I got myself the newest version of Soie de Parfum, a vintage Soie de Parfum, and a vintage Eau de Toilette splash - all for great prices on Ebay - and my favorite hands down is the vintage EDT splash. It smells like being wrapped in old blankets as you are reading an ancient book by an ancient fireplace - sipping a fine, aged brandy (brandy note not in the actual perfume so I'm going a bit PBS Masterpiece Theater on you here 😉😀). Anyway, Caleche is to die for - thank you thank you!

Fun idea for the perfume challenges! I just got Nemat Vanilla Musk recently. The bottle is so cute, and it does smell lovely. That chocolate musk sounds good too. (I have the Al Rehab one and like it but don't often want to smell like Coco Puffs...)

I just bought the Wags oil, you made it sound so good! If you like Egyptian musks, you might be interested in “Smells like Esthero” by Esthero. I heard about it from Sarah Mayes here on KZbin. She described it like a very clean Egyptian musk and she was right on the money. Do you know of any other oils that impart that clean sexy skin scent? It’s what I aspire to have at all times haha. I don’t like oil musks that are too opulent and verge on ambery. Btw I also really like Cristalle edt. It’s so green airy and crisp. Does the oil have the crispness of the real thing?

Crispness? It's more the citrus & green notes, the crispness likely comes from the aldehydes. The best Egyptian musk like skin scent I know is Alyssa Ashley musk

Try Skin Musk. Gorgeous scent. Clean warm skin scent is exactly what it is. Not opulent nor ambery.
