Hi, I have a question regarding the carotis stenosis case (starting at 8:16): Why is the hypoperfusion most severe in the posterior watershed area between MCA und PCA? As we have a stenosis in the ICA, we should expect that the PCA (which originates from the basilar artery) still works fine. Therefore, blood should still reach the posterior watershed area and it should not be the area with the worst perfusion in the brain. Instead I would expect the anterior watershed area between ACA and MCA to be hypoperfused first. Am I making a mistake here? Anyway, thank you very much for this great video series!
