I'm sorry that Nanping got blocked. I'm sure it will be released. That and this one are amazing representations of Hua Chenyu's master ability at arrangements. He was challenged with a song on this show (had no idea what song or genre until it was given to him) and then given 24 hours to arrange and perform it. He mentored Su Shiding in this show, which she won. The harmonies between the pair are incredible! This is a mixture of songs from the musical Perhaps Love, so that's where the Broadway vibes come in. There's just no genre that he can't work with. I can't confirm, but I've heard that other people were afraid to challenge him because they knew they would lose. I don't doubt it. By the way, I love that he said dancing is basically his Achilles heel, but just watching this, he should rethink that statement. Thank you for your reactions! Your "Heat" and "Cold" analysis gives me another perspective! Every time when I saw Su's burnt skirt, I always curious how Hua Chenyu can rearrange a song + design the stage + design the lighting + choose the outfits + learn to dance in 24 hours. He's really incredible!

Just found her performances on The Singer 2018. How did HuaHua or her not win that? Oh well. Love her style and all the songs she sang on The Next. So very happy she won it!! Hua Chenyu really helped her, but she had the talent. And loved watching him dance since he doesn't like doing that. Love his performance. Brings tears to my eyes.

The brief was to conjure up Broadway, in one song, in 24 hours. Fabulous! Hua Hua outdoes himself in this unexpected genre. As ever, a stunning performance. (And that dance! What a bonus from the guy who usually avoids dancing at all costs. 😊)

I've watched everyone of your Hua Chenyu reactions, multiple times for a lot of them. You got to watch the 'Idiot'. That's a duvet as well, with another female singer. The song was originally a solo song for female, Hua rearranged it and his part was totally new, it was brilliant. You don't want to miss that.

Such a powerful performance by both HuaHua and Su. He told her he would do anything to help her win, and he did. He even danced, which he always claimed he couldn't. It was a thrill. This music is from the musical film Perhaps Love, which is excellent. They stayed true to the film, and HuaHua's arrangement is fantastic. He has considered acting. Wouldn't he be great?

HuaHua has the quality of all A-List performers, of which there are few in the world. They don't act a part. The BECOME it. In one of Su’s performance, Hua said “she reminded of himself. Always wanted to see himself perform”. Lol. Su did several great performances that captivated Hua. You could see him in awe, and it’s hard to impress Hua.

Agree, and fear and pain are much more intense when they stem from the expectation or actual loss of something you love.
